Do not attempt to use the in-game shop, as it is most likely broken. Make all purchases through the website FFR Shop. |

Re: FFR Suggestions
Will FFR ever be updated to not lag on anything past Flash Player 9? Or does the engine's coding prohibit that from ever happening?

Re: FFR Suggestions
Token ranks exist for a reason, its become a bit of a dumping ground for legacy/novelty/gimmick files that would otherwise be removed from the game. They aren't a good measurement of skill so they aren't in levelranks. But at the same time they are generally interesting/challenging enough to be left in as something different, or because they are a part of the games history.
*edit* By legacy I meant older files that got V2s like P4U Last edited by omega_grunt666; 02-24-2014 at 10:50 AM.. |

Also the token ranks aren't included so that everyone has access to play the songs on the level ranks page. Skill token shouldn't be public either for the same reason. Public level ranks need to stick with public songs. |

Can one of the staff pitch this to Synth or install the api? It seems easy enough to do and it'd be neat to have working. The forums say they are tapatalk ready but it's not listed from what I'm finding and others were saying. Please?

Re: FFR Suggestions
Secret and purchased songs are available to everyone regardless of skill or circumstances, you just have to play enough.

Stepcharting Workshop:
Please either Hide it from the side panel on the front page or Make it available to everyone without having to join the usergroup It's confusing. I keep wandering into threads that I'm not allowed to see because I don't have the pass |

Re: FFR Suggestions
I wish to be able to put "bmah" or "halogen" in the search filter and it outputs only bmah's or TC_Halogen's stepped songs... Wouldn't that be nice? :]

Re: FFR Suggestions
I think a great thing to put into the game would be a filter for song styles. I've noticed that some genres (styles) fit into different types of categories, such as piano remixes from video games fitting into Arcade as opposed to Classic. This makes it very hard to find specific genres that you might want to play, like Instrumentals, Techno, Dubstep, etc. What I think would be an amazing thing to put into the game would be that if you search up a style of songs into the Search bar (ex. search Instrumental), songs that have that style will show up, so that you can find all songs that fit into that genre that you can easily access.
So it's kinda like ctrl + F for the game, so you can find all songs that fit under that style. |

Re: FFR Suggestions
I would like to suggest making it an option to view replays in either 30 fps or your current fps, to make recording easier, since none of my software records 30+ fps.

Though I don't see the issue with just letting it play at a high fps and recording it at 30fps anyway...

Re: FFR Suggestions
The issue for me is that a higher fps makes it lag and makes the sound cut out often.

Re: FFR Suggestions
Can there be an option in R3 to sort the song list with your worst ranks up top down to your best ranks at bottom? This would be a cool way to work on your level ranks without having to keep another window open with your ranks (which makes it lag).
Oh and there should be an option to filter out token songs. Last edited by TheSaxRunner05; 03-16-2014 at 07:50 PM.. |

How about giving us the freedom to customize what we want to see on the side panel? Like, adding sections of the forum to hide and show. EG. Right now the list is something like Giving us the freedom to change that would make it easier to watch for updates in those sections without having to hunt the subforum down through the forum layout every time you want to check if it was updated, especially if it is something that doesn't get updated very often, like AMA-- something of which used to be a huge problem on the side panel, but after it was hidden it stopped getting nearly as much use as it did. Anyway, it's not really important and there are probably way better ways to spend time fixing up FFR, but I thought I would put that one out there. |
