NFL Playoffs
Soooo, I'm curious. In the preseason, did any of y'all pick anyone BESIDES New England, Denver, Seattle, and San Francisco to be in the conference championship games? I know I had them from the get-go.
Who do you have winning the conference titles? Who wins the Super Bowl? I've got Seattle over San Fran, mostly because of home-field advantage. And I've got New England over Denver, because Denver's run defense has been suspect all season, and New England's run game is the best it's been all year. I think Seattle -should- win in a game against New England, but Belichick is a wizard, and Brady's been there before. Plus Seattle has to travel farther, and obviously won't have that home field advantage... It's tough. I'm a Patriots fan, and I feel bad picking them because Seattle is really good, but I'm gonna take New England 20-17 in the Super Bowl. |

Re: NFL Playoffs
Can't honestly say im surprised these 4 teams are still in it. Hoping the niners and broncos win with the niners winning the superbowl. But i'm expecting the seahawks to win. Is anyone else doing nfl.com's fantasy playoff challenge?

Despite my predictions for who would be in the NFC championship game this year I actually have SF over Seattle. SF's offensive play style matches up really well with Seattle's defense. Predicting Wilson has a poor game that even a stellar running game won't make up (something like 10/20+ passing and 1 or 2 picks). Final score will be something boring like 24 - 14. I have no predictions for the AFC because I don't like the conference in general.

Re: NFL Playoffs
Ok maybe that was an over-statement. I don't hate the conference, I just don't like 10 of the 16 teams in it.

Re: NFL Playoffs
I'm pretty much the same way. There's really not a single team that I like in the afc. There are just some teams that I don't dislike. Also the bears are winning it all next year, and the year after that

Re: NFL Playoffs
I hate the entire National League, but that's a little different since they actually play the game differently.
I don't know if I have a preference in football or not. I love the NFC for having the Cowboys, but the teams in it that I don't like I haaaaaaaate. I'm not in love with any particular AFC team anymore, but even the ones I don't much care about I'm okay with, like the Raiders and the Chiefs. The Pittsburgh Steelers are the obvious exception to that. --Guido |
