Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 1
Can I still be bumped? I can't do anything much more than this. For example, I got ~20 misses and a terrible PA on D5's song. D3's song was really straightforward. D5's song would be like the final round or so, and I'd get murdered even before that.

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 1
My best AAA is the song I just did for round 1. Hell I can't even FC Guitar vs Piano anymore for some reason. That score only exists because the song was straightforward rhythm-wise. And that usually doesn't happen anyways.

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 1
I don't think one score would bump you up to another division. Only if you continue to consistently do well on a certain range of songs considered to be a higher division would you really be looked at for being bumped up.

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 1
I just played through Seaponies and got 83-8-9-36. I suck indeed. Edit: 82-5-3-26 on The Whip. I'm fine where I am bro.

Wow, HalfStep boo-flagged D7 song, he should be bumped.
Enjoy your bump, HalfStep By the way, this post is not serious whatsoever. Seriously folks, chillax.

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 1
One isolated song score. We'll see what TC_Halogen and PrawnSkunk have to say (couldn't remember what the other placers were). They all put me there and I'm sure they looked through my stats at least, since I was one of the first 10 put there.
Like I said, I'm also new to the tourney scene so I have no idea as to how divisions usually are sorted out. |

Halfstep you monster. Also from what I saw the placements where probably the best I've ever seen for an official. The only ones I saw I thought had iffy ones where D5. Halfstep being one of them funny enough. So good job placers, you did a hell of a job. (For the record there is no ounce of sarcasm in this, they were seriously damn good placements compared to the past officials.) |

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 1
My Blooddrunk score does have 5 misses, but a little over 100 boos and a butt-ton of goods (not really mashing, just extra notes on the jump-sandwich blocks and stuff). Also I like jacking and the maintained trills have been practiced a decent amount. Thing is it's a song that fits my style. Then there's songs like AAA, FF3 Boss, {Firestorm}, and even the aforementioned GvP that I consistently screw up.
