Re: Breaking Bad
That last episode was fucking amazing. You could feel Jesse's rage so hard. Guy was seeing red. Best ending since the Crawl Space episode. The guys who work on this show are geniuses. It's so rare to come across a show like this and I feel lucky to be a part of it as the story unfolds. There's nothing quite like being forced to wait for each new installment and being blown away each time.
When Jesse started decking Saul I literally got up out of my seat. The anxiety was in overdrive for me, haha. What an episode. Last edited by Reincarnate; 08-26-2013 at 09:44 PM.. |

Re: Breaking Bad
Oh man, Walt's video was so fucking great too. I wasn't expecting a legitimate confession, but the way that was orchestrated...!!
Walt has constantly manipulated people before, but the way that he's doing it with Hank is simply incredible. I don't remember ever being filled with this much anticipation between every single episode with a show before -- anticipating a season, sure, but each new episode? What a rare thing. |

Re: Breaking Bad
my ex was elated that this is looking to be a legit tragedy and said that this series is like the first time America will have enjoyed a tragedy on a large scale since forever -- like they basically snuck Macbeth into their drink.
interesting way to think about it. I hope so too. the writers lose all artistic cred if they make this have a happy ending. |

Re: Breaking Bad
Depends on how you define a happy/sad ending when most of the characters are morally bankrupt.
I actually hope Walt doesn't die and lives a long, lonely, miserable life having lost everything (including his family, his money, his empire, etc). Death is too easy -- too merciful. That'd be giving him what he wants. Last edited by Reincarnate; 08-27-2013 at 07:27 AM.. |

Sound is off by a half second or so but meh 42:12 - 42:23: I *love* how the music here is just a sort of charge-up sound leading right into the first punch. Reminds me a lot of the charge up noises used in Ghost whenever the train ghost punches shit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjkkKO5Gsno 46:28+ *FUUUUUUUUCKKK*. Re: Breaking Bad
The obscurity of the "next time on AMC's Breaking Bad" means that someone is going to die. Probably Gomez. Sorry Gomie

Re: Breaking Bad
jesus i had to pause the last 8 minutes of this episode so many times i just didn't believe where it was inevitably going and how quickly. absolutely perfectly directed and edited
humor highlights: jr's fucking wonderment at goodman; goodman's wearily sardonic reading of 'better call saul!!!'; walt poking in with the baby for half a second idk why that just killed me; 'timmy dipshit' lol it's not veep but this show has some great insults

Re: Breaking Bad
I have absolutely no idea how the Super Nazi Brothers and the gang *MISSED* like that. They had more guys, far superior guns, and yet not one bullet connected? That's some Pulp-Fiction level shit right there.
