Re: Disregard Index AA
MIHC, unlike TOML, has a jump every 8th note (converting back to 202 BPM). This is death on index. That's not even taking into account the 32nd trill section either, but just getting to the 32nd trills requires you to survive a bunch of measure long 16th rolls at a speed no index player can do and jumpstream that is way too heavy.

Re: Disregard Index AA
In between the jumpstreams (which are syncopated 24th @ 202bpm so awkward as fk to hit index) you have 16th 1234 (some 1324) rolls that go as long as a measure. Easy to hit on spread, but on index you have to constantly move the fingers back and forth at ~26 NPS while avoiding contact with each finger.

Re: Disregard Index AA
Sakish: Others have mentioned it already but there are lots of rolls and heavy/awkward jumpstream sections. That shit (at least IMO) would be pretty tiring -- and then you get hit with the trills.
I think that whole thing would be extremely hard to do well on index -- but if you think it's easy (and I mean this with no snarkiness whatsoever), make a video of it and show otherwise? |

Re: Disregard Index AA
I dunno, I think it's pretty doable. I'm terrible at index speed, haven't played index competitively for a while, and have a shitty kb compared to my old one and almost passed today ?_?
