Re: ITG/DDR Scores
Guys, I'm really proud of this one. I'm serious
I'm trying my hardest to not make this sound like sarcasm, I was all types of hype when this happened, real talk.

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
Oh fuck me this hurt so much. Ending is 64 measures of 188bpm stream, the 2nd half being full of candles. The lead up to the stream is a long section of non-stop triplets so it really isnt much of a break.
This was pretty surprising. The streams didnt really tire me out at all. the 2 streams are each 8 measures of 24ths at 155. (12 measures at 233.5bpm) I conserved too much and got a shitty score.

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
Is Tachyon Spectrum a restep pack or is it just a collab of all the tachyon packs?

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
It's a restep pack. The easy chart of every file in that pack is the original, the other difficulties are either the same file with harder patterning or more steps in general.

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
Okay little backstory.
I woke up today and was like "I still haven't passed a 17 wtf?" so I ate breakfast and headed to pmall with some people. First song I played was Determinator 1.2 rate. The score was so bad, I didn't even bother taking a pic. Second song was a 9 footer warmup/cooldown w/e lol. Finally, I played Open Your Mind 1.1 rate and got this. I was pretty happy I got this. I might attempt 1.2 at a later time. And for the last song of my second set, I played this. Annnnnnd for some weird fucking reason, I felt really sick after this. It was probably because of eating and playing right after. I puked shortly after and laid on the pads for about half an hour. After being dizzy for awhile, I recovered, and started my last set. First, I played Determinator 1.2 rate again and got 88. Second song I played 3y3s on 1.1 rate and got a 91. For the last song, I was thinking of playing either Arcane Apparatus or some other 14 on 1.1 rate. I decided to just play a 14 on 1.1 rate. I played Gravity Blast (14) 1.1 rate by Matt and got like a ~78. It was a pretty crappy score but I wasn't 100% recovered so w/e. Sorry I have no screenshots of my last set. Pmall got really crowded and I didn't want some retards to jack my phone lol. Overall, today was really fun! I had a great time with my friends after Last edited by MinTS2; 06-30-2013 at 05:09 PM.. |

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
It's actually pretty easy. For the main run, just aim you feet 60 degrees right and stomp.
I just did bad on the shorter bursts. Open Your Mind 1.1 was actually lot more draining than I thought. |

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
So after two weeks of not playing pad (1 week vacation in The Berkshires, then 1 week of PHP classes) I'm getting back into playing again. I'm doing shorter sessions of 45 minutes to an hour every day for now and it's definitely going to be better than when I did 2 hour sessions with 2-3 days in between.
I didn't know how bad I was going to do this session but I knew I was going to play stuff I had trouble passing so I went "fuck the score" and turned marvelouses off. I'll turn them back on next session. Three new 12 passes in today's session; Eskimo, Children, and NGO. Children was harder than Eskimo because the 8th section had the annoying jumps which kept draining my stamina. NGO is an aids DDR stepfile with a lot of jumps; it's the easiest 18 in DDR to pass, so I thought I'd give it another shot. NGO is definitely my best pass right now next to Euphoria. FUCK THE SCORE! Hauled at the ending crossover stream which is absolutely ridiculous. |

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
If that NGO is the heavy chart: It's pretty fun...sometimes...maybe
If that NGO is the oni chart: What the fuck why would you ever play that garbage chart unless your trying to damage your legs

I actually don't know if he's passed a 16 yet, but if his recent scores are any sign of what's to come, he'll probably pass multiple 16s in a row.

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
those streams were 240 lol. And what AJ said usually seems to happen.
Once I passed my first 14, I got a lot more in the following couple weeks. Same with 15's, considering my first 15 pass was at the very end of april

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
Usually if someone's going to pass a difficulty level higher it comes with a few songs and not just one. There are exceptions to this of course, but it seems to be the case most of the time. I got several 12 passes in a row when I got my first ones, so yeah.
