Re: Hasn't been a day since the new pope was elected and we already have to witness t
I've been part of the other religion thread and I feel this one just reiterates everything that was already said before, which were much better arguments. I feel the subject that matters is homosexual rights, let's not go to fundamental issues since we all know very well how it'll end.
The only reason I posted is this: Quote:

FFRN00B90210 quit the bullshit, you're making a fool of yourself.
You've probably seen the pic I posted but you didn't answer the question I posed in that same post so I'll ask again. What exactly about homosexuality is wrong?

Be as religious as you want -- keep it to yourself. There's no good reason why homosexuals can't get married.

Religion is wrong because it's not proven facts. :monkey:

Re: Hasn't been a day since the new pope was elected and we already have to witness t
well, for a start God says it is wrong. that's enough for me.
Going deeper, i'm going off my beliefs. these aren't yours so you probably won't agree with them. God made man and woman to be partners for each other. he did not make man to be partners for another man, same thing with women. So homosexuality goes against the plan God designed for humanity.

This thread is sort of spiraling out of control.
I'm not knowledgeable within the religious topic, but I think anyone can see this discussion is going nowhere fast. |

God created the world.
science says the world as we know it came about over billions of years. cool. evolution in the way you're probably referring to says the way our world is today is as a result of random events over those billions of years, without any outside influence. it's the outside influence I have a problem with. For me, the method God created the world doesn't matter. He created science, so science can serve to explain. What's wrong with big bang theory? difference for me is I believe God was the one behind the big bang. i think that whether you act or practice homosexuality is.

The universe is a giant wad of gum that's been spat out by a cosmic automated gum chewer. The logic and fundamental mechanics within the gum universe we all reside in is a result of the inertia of the "big chew" on the infinitely compressed particles of gum.
Gum theory is the next big thing watch out.
