I was really glad to finally see something I was excited for, and then actually thoroughly enjoy it.

I really liked it.

The whole mayor = Turboman thing totally caught me by surprise for some reason -- didn't see it coming at all. Totally awesome.

It caught me off-guard too... I think it might be because the explanation of Turboman seemed to be very open-and-shut, for lack of better explanation. Wasn't the mayor himself the one who explained Turboman too? That mixed with the extremely convincing argument about Vannelope just created a big surprise later.

The Collector's Edition now has a release date of March 5, 2013 which is alot closer than June 24.

Loved it, the ending was a little predictable (as is any disney movie).
But none the less it's probably the best movie I've seen this year.

I'm probably going to get the DVD someday soon. One of the few animated movies I'd actually spend my money on.

True. The older pre-2000 Disney movies I'll buy in a heartbeat. I love this movie. Definitely my favorite recent animated movie, but my soul will always be sold to The Lion King. I have Wreck-It Ralph on blu-ray, so you can have the DVD bmah. lol

My friend just bought this, and I just got done watching this for the first time. I've gotta say, I'm disappointed because it's not nearly as good as it was hyped up to be. It was good, and I did enjoy it, but it's definitely not the best animated movie I've ever seen, even in the past 5 years. I actually enjoyed Paperman more (but that's not a dock to the movie, because I REALLY liked Paperman lol). Also,

It looks like it's worth seeing, but if I'm spending money on a movie based on things I've heard and the trailers, I'm gonna spend it on Cloud Atlas.

I'm glad I chose Cloud Atlas, but again, not a dock to this movie, because Cloud Atlas was fantastic.

I just want to emphasize that I did enjoy the movie, and I do think it's good, I just don't think it's worthy of so much hype.

Well I didn't get to see it when it came out, but now that this thread is revived, I must say this was a great movie. Especially as the father of a little girl, the ending ...

... where he can watch her race as he's getting tossed over the building brought a tear to my eye. A movie hasn't done that to me in a long time.
