To be honest I expected D3 to be AAA or bust after there was like 15 AAAs in the first hour of the song getting released

Oh, a thread for the low tier-ers, that's cool.
I'm honestly just awaiting the 2nd round, man I really should get back to practicing my speed. |

I too await round 2. I've stopped trying for this round. I doubt 42 people are suddenly going to get a better score than me.

Sightread 4g, this song is awesome. It shouldn't be that hard to get to round 3, and I am NOT getting one place off again.

Took a sightread myself too... Surprised myself when I managed to AAA it.
At least now I can spend some leisure time on PSO2 xD |

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Divisions 1, 2, & 3 Discussion Thread
I'm playing a little inconsistently today (haven't gotten to play in a few days because of school etc.) but here are my sightreads:
D1 (Reset): decent song, AAA yay~ some of the patterns were a little tricky (notably the little purple section), glad I was able to follow it. I'm curious how far I'll be able to AAA D1, because iirc, by the end of the last tourney I couldn't even FC the stuff they were getting. D2 (Wonder World!): another pretty tricky one, another sightread AAA, whoot. D3 (Blue Marine): holy offsync Batman. Wasn't really a problem though for some reason. I restarted after a little bit because I got a good that could be avoided, and as expected proceeded to get a good on the opening. Ended up with 5-0-1-0, I can definitely clean it up but I'm expecting a blackflag at the very best. Probably more like a 2-0-0-1 or something. Didn't have trouble with the end so much as the middle. Glad we got another good song that I can do pretty well at. D4 (Walk on Water): pretty easy 59, I got 13-2-1-3 but I can definitely FC it (I hope. I mean, I can as long as my fingers cooperate) and maybe get it cleaner. Meh, won't bother posting D5, but I can definitely do better once my hand has gotten some rest. Was having trouble with (mini)jacks I know I can do. And as usual I can't do very much with D6. It's nice that they're all pretty short songs. |

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Divisions 1, 2, & 3 Discussion Thread
Low SDGs are extremely common for the first round of official tournaments, even AAA or bust happens at times. Round 2 can go either way. I think D2 is going to be really tight because I think a lot of people will find this file easier. D1 might have some trouble because it's long and has hands in it. D3 I find harder but a lot of people are saying it's easier haha, I guess we'll see where it ends up.

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Divisions 1, 2, & 3 Discussion Thread
D1 definitely is long, but I find the song a lot more pleasing than round 1's song. I feel like I'm listening to the track of a Disney movie, lol.

That ending is pretty tough for D3, at least for a lowly D2-er like me. If you're minding blocking blue marine, try some other blue songs like blue noah or blue army :P

D3 song is harder to FA but it's easier in the sense I don't think I'm gonna get a mindblock on it.
Fire had 2 sections where it's like F this this is balls. |

Mirror seems to make it easier for me (no trouble FCing, though the end was a tad less easy), but I'll need to try again starting Thursday. Too tired now to do well. |

Yeah... I'll prob try again tomorrow I was getting ready to play different songs but the frustration from blue marine is just getting to me really bad x.x I think Fire was a lot easier in my opinion >.<..
