Re: Value of the credit and credit sinks
One suggestion I would make is make it so if there are any existing bets of a particular amount, and they're not other bets by the same user, that the user has to take an existing bet rather than make a new bet of their own if it's the same amount as an existing bet.
It is rather annoying to place a bet for a particular amount only to have it sit there while other people place bets for the same amount rather than taking the existing bet. This was quite a problem back when the gambling hall was run the first time. |

Re: Value of the credit and credit sinks
Apparently millions of credits came out of nowhere in one day.

Re: Value of the credit and credit sinks
Tofurox exploited a bug which made him gain very large amounts of credits. He also gave away alot of these, because he said he felt guilty. Anyway, he got the ban deserved for abusing it.
I'd just like to know how progress is going on restoring the hall again, that's all. I appreciate the work being done for all of us.

Re: Value of the credit and credit sinks
FFR Shop credit transactions seems down too. It's probably related.

Re: Value of the credit and credit sinks
Can we please fix the gambling hall so it's not so exploitable?
I don't mind a fair gamble, but if you're losing because someone was exploiting the system to gain an unfair advantage or to make you lose, that's not fair. I assume records are kept as to who won/lost which gambles with whom? If so, why not refund all credits from known exploiters to whoever they cheated? If people steal credits in other ways, it's refunded, so why not refund these? People are playing with the assumption it's a 50/50, not playing for a guaranteed or high probability loss due to cheaters. Please fix the exploitability of it and please refund credits to any accounts that were cheated. This should have been done the first time around too, back when people were exploiting the system. |

Re: Value of the credit and credit sinks
Considering what happened, I'm pretty sure it's being worked on asap.

Re: Value of the credit and credit sinks
I doubt there is an easy way to just undo all exploited transactions but keep the legit ones.

Re: Value of the credit and credit sinks
Good idea, but i think we should just let Velocity handle it how he wants. A few people were up for my idea of rolling back all credits to when the hall came out, but that was just an idea and i don't really mind what happens.

Re: Value of the credit and credit sinks
Ok so I placed these bets before the gambling hall was closed:
250,000 14 hours ago Won 100,000 14 hours ago Won When I had placed them I decided to go do stuff and come back and see the results but next thing I knew when I came back the gambling hall was closed so when I saw I had 210k credits I assumed I lost them both.... now that it's back and I see I won them... why didn't I get the credits for it?
