I'm just slowly easing back into WoW, I was previously saving for the traveler's yak then they doubled the price. I was thinking 60k was achievable but 120k is a different monster for someone who doesn't use any of the auction house stuff. All my gold is either from dailies or dungeon finder rewards. I'm kind of a pack rat too, only have 5-20 spaces on each character that isn't filled with random junk.
I got 10 85s but none of them have the normal dragon soul achievements. I did manage to take most of them through LFR though. I normally go hard at the first tier then slack my way through the rest of the xpac. In Vanilla I was still trying to do BRD when BC came out. In BC I was in ZA and Kara. In WotLK I had most of the best gear for ele sham at the time but got out dps'ed by someone with lesser gear doing the 6 minute malygos achieve.
In cata I think our guild was ranked in top 10 for our server for the first tier of content then Rift or Aion came down and that went away very quickly. We were relying on very good healers instead of avoiding damage. So hopefully for MoP I can hit the first tier of content hard then fade away into obscurity.
