Lightdarkness Engine Thing
First, before getting into the topic, I want to apologize if this is totally in the wrong forum, already somewhere on the site but too far buried for me to find, or just not allowed to be discussed here at all. This is my first post after all so please cut me some slack if this is too much to ask for :P.
Many of you likely know about the Lightdarkness engine that was created while FFR was down a while back. I use it to play some of my favourite songs from a while ago that may have been changed to having a very high token requirement, or having some ridiculous credit requirement. Recently (must be within a few months), when trying to load the site it says something about needing to download some cache from the main FFR site, and I am wondering where this may be, or if it exists at all. If someone could direct me to it that would be amazing as the search feature on this forum gave me some pretty tragic results in comparison to what I had hoped lol. EDIT: apparently this was my second post my bad :S Last edited by gundownkid1; 09-8-2012 at 07:05 PM.. Reason: correcting info initially posted |

Re: Lightdarkness Engine Thing
It's not working because due the revival there's supposed to be no offline versions of the current engine floating around. It also contained a lot of songs that weren't in the original game ect.
In short it's not supposed to exist anymore. |

Re: Lightdarkness Engine Thing
There were also some songs in the offline engine that we didn't have permission for so that is another reason it is gone.

Re: Lightdarkness Engine Thing
The LD engine is out of date, so there's really no need to continue using it. The Token and Secret songs were publicly available as there was no way to unlock them; nothing's changed.
Stick to the one that's available on the site. |
