10k
What PA (perfects/goods/averages/misses/boos) would I need to get on any random FFR level to attain a score of 771,625? Note: there are several ways to get this score, but I am looking for the least amount of arrows. Edit@wildfire: I asked for 8 rounds, not 8 rounds + tiebreakers ;D |

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
You should totally, tell us what's up with the placements..
I'm assuming one+ people aren't 100% done, or the collaboration is still being worked on. If it's just someone needing to input numbers to the tourney board..

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
I've checked the divisions so many times, that when I eventually click and finally do see a list of names in them, I'm probably gonna for-real shit my pants.
That is how long this is taking Q_Q |

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
Re: Placements
Out of the placements team, there are 2 people who are so close to finishing that I've already started to compile the rest of them while I wait. To be fair I am not going to start adding them to the tourn dashboard until they are all done so that I don't get every other user asking me what division they are in when I am not 100% on the unfinished ones. I've been getting swamped through PM/IM/Skype/Prochat/This thread about them for days now. I can't make this happen any faster, but I know for a fact that they are 90-95% completed. As I have stated numerous times, the minute I know that they are finished, I will post them here and most likely a front page post will be made to let everyone know. Then comes the task of adding them all in manually. The SponCons are for my amusement while I go through the incredibly exciting task of ip checking 800 players + all of their alts to ensure there isn't any sandbagging/cheating happening at that level. If this appears to be a stall tactic, my bad, but I have been as transparent as I could possibly be throughout this entire process. I just like giving away my credits, and random little trivia/math/search contests for credits is purely for the amusement/benefit of you guys that are so patiently waiting for this to all come together. I don't want to have to resort to locking this thread until they are posted, but if people can't take the hint that they are almost done and to chill out and be patient, I might be forced to... So once again guys, chill. Both guys that are almost finished should be done by tonight. So they should all be posted by tomorrow. Last edited by nois-or-e; 07-5-2012 at 05:37 PM.. |

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
I don't know what's been going in this thread, but I would really like to take the time to apologize to each and every one of you guys waiting for placements. These past two weeks have been extremely busy and I simply could not finish placements in time. I told Jae to remove me from the duties and I just gave him what I have. With my first semester of college coming around the corner, and our car pretty much killing itself (bad piston = engine is pretty much about to blow), Kayla and I have been extremely busy with other things trying to make ends meet.
Also, for those of you know might think I'm making things up because of all of the ITG things I've been posting, it's because the machine is at Kayla's mom's house and we've been going there frequently for numerous reasons. Again - I'm really sorry, and I mean this as sincerely as possible. I know I've been rude to some people on this site for no real discernible reason but this was the last thing I wanted to put a hold on. EDIT: also, I know word has been going around about me being a bit mean/rude to Zekramcross - I'd like to address Zekramcross, and justin_ator (since he was the one who voiced some slight anger about it); I wasn't in any place to do it because he did more work than I did. I was just worried about experience in placement, and with people hoping for the tournament to run as smoothly as possible, I didn't want to potentially be part of some issues that weren't my fault. In any event, I'm apologizing to both of you guys. ...yeah. Last edited by TC_Halogen; 07-5-2012 at 06:39 PM.. |

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
AJ, I would also like to apologize for the um...slightly untactful way I expressed my distaste of what you said, I definitely could have included a bit less frustration. No need to apologize to me, but I'm glad that you did apologize to Zek. Sorry for how I reacted to it.
Thanks for the time you did get to put into placing though while you still could, it just means that the ones you got through are that much more thorough and it helps. Thanks for the effort and I hope things start to look up for you guys irl.

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
Aj, I accept your apology. I woke up one night and found that comment sitting in the skype chat. Let's just say I wasn't very happy since you are one of the people I looked up to on the site. I understand that it must be from the stress that is going on in your life and didn't really retaliate towards the comment, but still it was uncalled for.
Thanks for the apology and I assure you and everyone that I placed everyone to the best of my ability. EDIT: I really hope everything irl works out for the better for you! ^_^ |
