Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #7
Kommi stepped it for solo a LONG time ago before I even knew this mp3 existed. His is probably more well done than mine though. It's also my favorite theme from Pokemon. Burn7's Lance Battle comes as an extremely close second. (I'm stepping it for FFR as well...)

Some people are going to get mad at me :
Two very lucky run, and I won't improve them I think. What difficulty is Breeding ? Because it might be my best AAA I've ever got. Last edited by noname219; 03-23-2012 at 12:11 AM.. |

Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #7
I'm actually liking most of these files. Some of them are okay, others are just pure epic. Bad Maniacs, I know, got a lot of positive feedback, and I gotta tell ya, that one was really well thought out. Most of the others, they're more or less okay.
Tell the truth, I'm proud of my epic derpiness. |

Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #7
Short reviews of D2's files:
Rain of Blood: Holy shit, this file repeats the same bloody patterns that it gets extremely annoying after a while. Nothing against you hi19, you did what you could do with the song but in my opinion, this isn't quite the song to step that just has the same rhythm for 1:31 long Who We Are: Fun file, I would AAA it if my comp isn't being a pain in the ass (just like it was when I was trying to AAA Beast Within @.@) edit: oops you have to be kidding me. Hi19, I think your files hate me because I can AAA the other file without any problem @.@ edit 2: welp, looks like I won't win, but hopefully I have better luck in the later rounds including (and hopefully) some people submitting late huehuehue Last edited by XxMidigamixX; 03-23-2012 at 10:49 AM.. |

The first half the song has some nice variation with the percussion layering. The patterns into the hands are kinda dumb but I did that because D1 in my tournament was AAAing everything so I wanted it a little hard... then I just went crazy and gave them Freefall instead of this file (in hindsight, also probably a mistake considering Freefall wound up being about as hard as the finals lol) But yeah the second half of the file is pretty much a copy/paste job, the song doesn't have much variance there. Sorry, maybe not the best choice to step I'm learning that "tournament files" need not be any different than a regular file I'd make. All my attempts to make a file harder than it should be for the sake of a tournament haven't been received well.

Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #7
It's alright haha. I mean the file itself isn't bad like I said. Though the hands/quads towards the end almost gave me a "Herzeline (sp?)" moment (see round 3 [?] on DFCT6 where I got a 0-0-0-3 on it)

Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #7
making a file hard for the sake of it being harder than it should be leads to a shitty file
