No ghost notes or ghost jumps in excessive sex or I like trains. The ghost jumps in excessive sex are accentuating jumps to the melody. Not all jumps are used for layering!!!

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Closed)
I don't think my file will make it, but that's fine. It was my first attempt. Next time, I will pick a more interesting song that isn't as repetitive.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Closed)
Hey guys, woker-X's notes are available now! Applies to Group A's songs. Each song should have 5 ratings now, with the exception of a few songs*.
http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...2&postcount=18 *due to a few songs being [PASS]ed onto to backup judges. We'll hopefully obtain these last few scores soon. After all songs are fully reviewed, the list of accepted songs will be determined. Last edited by bmah; 02-4-2012 at 12:21 AM.. |

i'm still curious to the way judge ratings are going to be 'normalized' or whatever.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Closed)
So what I take from the judges notes -
I switched what I was stepping too much back and forth from the melody to the bass too often (but stepping two minutes of the same melody would be too boring too) Layering needs work (yes, I added jumps to the ending section to add variety so it wasn't the same steps over and over again) Conclusion: The song is too repetitive to step interestingly, if you switch back and forth between stepping the melody and the bass judges don't like it, but if you stepped the melody the entire time it would get boring I need to pick a more interesting song next time. It still gets stuck in my head though. Better luck next time I guess |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Closed)
I really hope a lot of my files get conditional queued since I already have fixes for all of them and would HATE to wait another couple months just to send resubs. I just might have 8+ files to submit for next batch if that happens.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Closed)
