Re: WiP Thread
Unfortunately that's their official logo and I can't change the font. I hate it too.

Hahahahaha, Spenner the Dentist, soon in cinemas near you!
No but really that was nice and tandy ^^ DS how do you get reflection from Krakatoa? On objects rendered out in another pass~, just multipass post processing?

Re: WiP Thread
Krakatoa can get geometry information and render it as a matte, works with reflections too, just distorts particles to make it look like they're a reflection, pretty neat.

Re: WiP Thread
Sweet, looks like I should really dig into that plugin.
Tail light done, and all grills done + engine room done, but not the actual engine. Only suspension and engine left of "exterior". No maps on the taillights, it's modelled, looks like this http://i891.photobucket.com/albums/a...g?t=1318377375

Re: WiP Thread
Allright I'm just about done. MAN studio rendering is a shitload of work compared to "outdoor" HDRI rendering, considering flaws in the model. Appears there's more fixing to do still. A low res render inserted, click this link for full res:
http://lasselundster.files.wordpress...ck1920jpeg.jpg I'm very happy with the material, turned out better than I actually expected. Using a HDRI pack that came free from Deviant art, I've tested all 15 HDRIs on like 15 different angles/tiles, I liked this one alot. Cheers, and are there nobody else out tehre with something to share? You know, stickmen drawn in class, girls you'll never have sex with drawn while working etc? Nobody? =(

Re: WiP Thread
Material is great, but your lighting is still meh, needs more highlights on pretty much the whole side of the car. Add a few vray lights and have them only affect specular, gives you free reign on how your reflections come out.
This is pretty much done, aside from minor stuff, like sound. God I suck with sound effects. |

That's pretty sweet though, darkshark.
I don't ever draw anything worth posting. >.>

Re: WiP Thread
Just a concept that's been bouncing around in my head for a little bit. I don't actually think I'm going to finish this though =/

Re: WiP Thread
It's a cool concept but the lighting makes it way too dark, something soft above the subject would've been nicer I'd think. Is the light source supposed to appear as somewhere in between the face and body? A neat concept, but you could have the same effect with more emphasis on the body. Not enough of it shown to get a real mood to stand out.
