Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
Drum your fingers to roll patterns in your spare time. Trust me. It helps greatly when you don't realize it.

Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
so this doesn't have a lot to do with ffr the game so much as the forums. D;
i'm having some serious issues putting videos in forum posts. using the embed code doesn't work, using the link doesn't work, so far as i know none of the buttons at the top of the "message" screen work. (when you're typing up your post? yeah, that screen.) no one else seems to be having this problem. ;-; any help?

Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
use the code [ youtube ]video id[ /youtube ]
without the spaces between [youtube] and.. you get it. Can't straight up post it normally otherwise it looks weird. Last edited by ScarletSky; 07-19-2011 at 09:22 AM.. |

Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
So just wondering... What are good songs that allow you to steadily increase how fast you can tap? I can never do clockwork or any level 10 because of this. :P Thanks

Lolderp: Actually, there's a song with gradual speedups in the game. However, near the end it gets ridiculously fast.

Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
Yup, definitely a little too fast. XD. Thanks though. Maybe if I keep doing this song, I'll either increase my speed a ton or get Carpal Tunnel...

Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
Sightreading is the first time you play a song. In other words, you've never played the song, so you don't know/remember any patterns.

Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
(I hope I don't do this incorrectly) Hello whoever I'm talking to. I'm in a predicament. Sometimes when I'm playing some songs that require 3 arrows to press down at one time, my computer will beep and the notes will not register. This only happens with left, up, and down; left, up, and right; and all 4 buttons. I hate it so much >_<. Is there something wrong with my computer?

Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
Most laptops/desktops/ect. usually don't register all the arrow keys when they are pressed simultaneously. This is why many FFR players change their key setup. Example: my key set up is "(q)(w) (,)(.)" This style of playing is called "spread". It is fairly easy to become a great FFR player with a spread setup.
Why is it called spread? Because your hands are spread away from each other^^. But, main reason why many of us change our keysetup is to avoid any keys that won't register. You might have to keep changing it until you find what is comfortable and, or registers all 4 keys. -Goodluck

Re: Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]
Ok guys well. It doesnt let me post anything about my account anywhere else so i guess ill start here. I made this account recently because i forgot the password to my other account. And every day i would try to remember and guess it would be wrong. I tried all my emails and passwords. Unfortunately when i made my original FFR account, it ****ing basically had a different email. So i lost it forever unless i can get the email back. I was wondering if any profile mod can look and see if my Email is on Sagon_Eternal. If so please message me back. I can go on from there. D. Otherwise ill have to start fresh.. and man. I really dont want to. xD.
