Re: Golden Rule Algorithm
I'm trying to understand the implications of this algorithm. What does the ability to drag any box into any other box have to do with fast search and retrieval? Having windows inside of windows just seems representative of a tree structure to me.

Re: Golden Rule Algorithm
I think it works like inception with data inside of data inside of data or something like that...
edit: I really want to know what exactly this algorithm is doing since I've had too many classes on search algorithms and can actually understand them. Last edited by unkanown444; 07-13-2011 at 04:46 PM.. |

Re: Golden Rule Algorithm
This doesn't seem all that impressive to me but that's probably just because I'm not understanding it. I'm not really much of a programmer.

Re: Golden Rule Algorithm
Could someone provide a specific application of this algorithm for those of us who are a bit baffled by this?

Re: Golden Rule Algorithm
Maybe even give some pseudo code for the actual algorithm itself?

Re: Golden Rule Algorithm
I get it I just don't understand what's so astounding about it. It seems pretty simple but again, I think I'm just not understanding why it's so difficult.

I heard you like browsers, so I put browsers in your browsers so you can browse while you browse.

That made me lol hard Izzy.
It's interesting stuff, that's for sure.

Re: Golden Rule Algorithm
does a pretty bad job at interweaving pages. move the pages out and they disappear (becuase you can' click on them again). pointless.
