But yes, in general, go a little easy. You might get a lot more simfiles in the pack, and different reviews, for better or worse. It's ok to experiment, with the community starting to get motivated, different might be good. |

Re: Dubstep Minipack 2
What exactly was the major problem with the x-mods? I felt they were pretty good. But obviously you can tell better than I can. More explanation?
ps, if you needed the baseline bpm to set an x-mod for, 140 is the base. Hence 70, 35, 280, 560, and 1120. The 2240 is pretty much a joke, where it is located doesn't impact the difficulty of the file at all. Just for looks and to kind of go with that part of the song. And yeah, this is like my third simfile that I have actually finished and am somewhat proud of, so I don't have a ton of experience. I've made a few files, but technicalities and the like are still beyond me somewhat. ps, if anyone wants to see the file it's on my profile. No download because I want it in this pack, but yeh.

Re: Dubstep Minipack 2
the xmods were too sudden/random and there were many other spots that would've been better for xmod use. too many spots to name, but it comes with practice.

Re: Dubstep Minipack 2
Also, does the song have to have that distinctive wub sound? I've got a couple songs I'd like to try but they have a bit of a hip-hop sound to them. Maybe I'll wait til people are awake to ask

Re: Dubstep Minipack 2
Repeating,
verdict on my file? Accept, or decline? and also, would this file (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhebl9oD5Lc) be acceptable? I might try to finish it sometime. I dunno if I'll get it done for this though.

Re: Dubstep Minipack 2
i'd say decline. needs a lot of work, and is heavily underlayered at parts

Re: Dubstep Minipack 2
Well, if you want to go back through it and fix things and make it a collab, this is my permission. I don't know that I will have time to go back through and mess with all of that. So if it's going in, someone can collab for the fixes, etc. You or t-rog, I don't care.

Re: Dubstep Minipack 2
Mkay, I'll hurry up and finish vocals and pm you a link. I have it at static bpm now, but if you want to change that I honestly don't care.
