Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Yeah it's pretty obvious the file isn't going to be put in for scoring purposes since files with video backgrounds are rare. I just want to know what's so special about the file (and I've seen the video too).
It's just one file so it's not that big of a deal at all, but it still doesn't make much sense |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Why does consistency for having/don't having BGs matter (aka the theory of if a song has BG, all songs should have it)? BGs are just occasinally added for appearance/fun/variety when we have nice ones.
And yeah this will be Purchased or S-token. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
lol at people saying this isn't a fairness issue
If there's so much questioning as to why one song would merit a video over another, then someone's ought to be slightly jealous or something. Otherwise, no one should care really. |

They are public.... hopefully it is a skill token :/
Maybe FC Party 4 u with less then so many boos could unlock it, since its the only other song with a video.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Question still wasn't answered - but whatever.
I guess the "nice" video thing goes back to subjectivemanias, so it's best to stop at that |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
deleted other post and added on:
of the three I played: Destination Unknown - yes Feux d'Artifice - yes Famicom - conditional on the fix of the little thing on the ending ones I didn't play originally Fly Away - yes, though those 32nds should be 24ths (there is a flam on the first note so you could maybe do xxx.x. 48ths if you wanted all four notes still), but fun overall He's a Pirate - yes Spacedust - no - inconsistencies with drum 32nds throughout, a few missing jacks in the middle part for the piano. though this is one of my two favorite songs from that game The Club - no - the patterns feel really floaty like an old avoiding-3-framers file with the rhythms that are basically roll patterns with breaks (like 12341 23412 34123 or whatever they are, you have them for a lot of the 16ths like m27ish). there were some missing 16ths in the middle, and the patterns for some of the 8th jumps were really awkward as well (i.e. m33)

and in IOSYS vids this is the most popular one. Not planning to add another file w/ movie for now though. If the BG choice is subjective, judgement system itself is subjective, and your opinion here is subjective too. This isn't constructive discussion at all, anyways. |

I am not going into a "Subjective" discussion because that leads to nowhere - so I only resorted to that until I got the answer you finally happened to give |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I'm planning to fix Fly Away anyhow, whether or not it gets in.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I don't think we should be that strict on these files, so it's ok as long as the file is fixed as judges said.
Also this is optional, so just fix files that you think game-worthy if the original author doesn't fix it (if you want to revive all, then you can go for it). |

Destination Unknown: yes
Feux D'Artifice: 4:21 of nearly no pattern variation? Technical and accurate, but the same thing over and over again; no Famicom Selecta: conditional accept with fixed ending Fly Away: conditional with 32nds changed to 24ths He's a Pirate: yes Spacedust: yes The Club: yes |
