I'm excited to see how this all plays out!


The only slight problem I can see is that all the submitted files will most likely be higher level, and soon there'll be a TON of files to play, while a majority are for the solords. Or just having a TON of files to play in general is a major problem. :P

Considering that most people are new to both 6 key playing and stepping, I would imagine that it won't be too unbalanced.

eventually we're definitely going to need a way to sort all the songs, but for now a single list will do

I'm also highly encouraging people to step easy charts in general because I am going to be VERY strict for this batch right from the start. I'm going to make sure that no crappy files are going to get into keybeat, ever. if you step easier charts you have a much higher chance of getting your file accepted.

What are we gonna do about the permission issue?
Just do it like Stepmania and not give a **** or get permissions for all the artists.

Also I guess when submissions open I'll create my first Solo File.

My solo files tend to be easy so don't worry about all files being hard

I say we don't give a **** about permissions and go until someone tries to sue us or something lol. IF say that ever did happen then we'll comply to demands and begin getting permissions. Least that's how I see going about it lol.

Considering current status of this game (aka kind of an underground game), probably you don't need to do something about permissions right now, since it's basically same with stepmania packs.
But if you're going to annouce it for public in general extensively, then you'll need to deal with those issues like FFR does.
