Re: Introducing: My New Baby.
I owned an Infinity G20 a while back as well. The parts are rather expensive, the engine is easy to work on as far as top end work goes, but if any internal breaks, go buy another car, its not worth it. Mine had an automatic transmission that clunked when it shifted from first to second. Later on in it's short short life, piston ring blew, which is known to happen easily on these cars, and I had to say bye bye to her.
Cars I've owned?: 1992 Ford Taurus 1999 Mercury Cougar 1994 Infinity G20 1989 Chevy Blazer 1994 Volkswagon Jetta 1987 Jeep Wagoneer 1993 Toyota Celica 1998 Mitsubishi 3000GT 1987 Ford Festiva 1993 Geo Metro 1995 Ford Aspire 2007 Dodge Caliber Last edited by darkshark; 09-25-2009 at 05:24 PM.. |

Re: Introducing: My New Baby.
I own a 2002 VW Jetta, GLS 1.8 Turbo, and I love my car.
Volkswagens are by far the best type of car that I've ever driven. I'm crappy with keeping the maintenance on it sometimes :/ so the fact that it's survived this long, is amazing. As for your new baby, sometimes, what other people see as junk, turns out to occasionally be fantastic. Old cars were made more sturdy then these flashy pieces most people are driving now. Good luck

Re: Introducing: My New Baby.
I've owned a 91 Buick LaCrosse, or some ****
car was in such ****ty condition under the hood, and it smelled bad Second car was a 96 Toyota Corolla, very nice and dependable car, wouldda lasted through college, till it got "totaled". It was PARKED on the curb in front of my house, and my idiot neighbor hit it head on and cracked the axel. Folks at the shop said it might as well be totaled... and the check for the damage was $600 more than what I paid for it :P. With the $3600, plus 800 I was willing to spend, I got this: 02 Civic, bought it like that. ****ing love it. |

Your car is also like 15 years old, don't be a hypocrite. And even if something goes wrong with it, my dad owns the Yellow Cab in town, so free mechanic all day.

Pretty much all my cars are gas savers now, except the 3000gt, which is just my toy, and unfortunately gets between 3 and 12 mpg, depending on how hard you drive it xD Last edited by darkshark; 09-26-2009 at 06:51 AM.. |

Seriously Foilman?
Back off, it's ridiculous that you care this much about battering someone elses enjoyment just because you don't find the same value in it. You're being a ****pickle and I don't see where it's really neccessary. Get a hobby. Collect a ****ing rock. Sheesh.

****pickle
I have my grandma's 2000 Toyota Camry. It looks like **** because my alcoholic uncle drove it for a year or so and dinged everything up and lost a hubcap. I still quite like it, considering I got it for free. |

Re: Introducing: My New Baby.
It's a common means of transportation and everyone is pretty familiar with what it is. The guys are usually fixing them so they usually know more about them than girls. I got a 2000 Nissan Altima just two months ago and love it to death. I named it Morpheous. Before that i had a 1989 Honda Accord. I also loved that a lot too. We gave it to one of our family members though.
