Default arrow direction in multiplayer?

Is there a way to change the arrow direction in multiplayer to go left?

Good answer.

U can only go up or down.
Why would you want to go left anyway?

People change scrolling directions and flip their screen/monitor either upside down or to it's side. It's a creative way to completely change the step patterns. This usually comes in handy when you get a mental block on a song.

I don't understand why this isn't frowned upon, like double-setup is. "Oh, you can only have one set-up. stop doing things that aren't supposed to be normally available to you."

Ok, well, you have to go out of your way to make the chart flipped the way you want.

[/somewhat angry response]

Also, sorry, I didn't mean to personally single you out, I was just speaking my thoughts about it.

If you think about it, it makes sense that you can't sidescroll in MP.

<3 I understand. I've never actually done it, considering that would be next to impossible given my current monitor, which is a TV screen hehe. Just stating what I've observed from other players. ^o^

I remember there was one person who played very well with left scroll without flipping their screen. Don't go thinking everyone who plays left scroll flips their screens.

Bluearrowll = The Canadian player who can not detect awkward patterns. If it's awkward for most people, it's normal for Terry. If the file is difficult but super straight forward, he has issues. If he's AAAing a FGO but then heard that his favorite Hockey team was losing by a point, Hockey > FFR

Double setup is pretty different from mirror, etc. The former allows for the player to hit jackhammers twice as fast, while the latter changes the patterns. Both of them change the way a file would normally be played. I don't know about what is frowned upon and what isn't, though. It seems to me that, as long as you explain what mod or setup you used, an accomplishment is an accomplishment.
