Exactly how it looks here.

We've had two storms now. One on Friday and one today.
It hasn't stopped snowing for more than a few minutes in the past couple of days.
It's really windy right now.

I am not amused.

It's been snowing and sleeting off and on for the past week or so, but last night we started to get freezing rain on top of what snow/sleet had just fallen. Trees and branches have been going down and power has gone out in some areas. It warmed up so a lot of it has melted, but it's still nasty. It's raining right now, but no freezing rain.

Some random pics I took earlier.

Back in 2004 we had a snowfall record too! 95 centimetres/37.4 inches.

Yeah gee I thought Texas was supposed to get snow all the time! Good thing you pointed that out! But really, we do sometimes. I live in north Texas so we get a couple of inches annually. But more often we have ice storms. In the panhandle though, they get a lot of snow.

Yeah, I was talking flat snow. No drifts. My neighbours had a snow bank that was 30+ feet. It almost touched power lines!

Haha, I remember that... Ottawa blows. I had a good 9-10 feet of snow on my front yard piles.

Lol, Ottawa just had a giant storm, I was stuck at home all day. I don't even want to go out. Lucky school is over though, with the OC Transpo strike and everything...
I took me over 2 hours to get to school last week and normally it takes 10 minutes. >.<

LA didn't get any snow - safe to say they probably never will. It's about sixty miles east in the desert where we got snow, roughly 2500 feet in elevation. My earlier post alluded to that.

Freezing rain sucks, but today i walked across the city to see my GF and i walked in snow up to my waist and walked next to piles atleast 7 feet. Not fun.

Taking more interesting pics tomorow. (The waterfall looked awesome)
