HAI! I've been registered for quite some time

But posting a new topic cause its my first login for a few years

I used to be really good at this game like when it only had 6 songs

High scores and everything..

Yeah, welcome back.

Basically, everyone is a lot more insane at this game thanks to the addition of arrow scroll speed modifiers (speedmods for short), improved ability to keep the arrows on time with the music, and basically a ****load of new features have been added.

Some things to watch out for:
-We have MySpace-like profile pages now, and even multiple chat rooms.
-The addition of "tokens" means that not everyone has access to the same song list anymore. Tokens come in two categories: the sort you have to hunt down and the sort you earn through gameplay; the latter are also called "skill tokens." There's also a "support token" that involves you buying something from the site (the reward is a much harder version of the song Dendrite) floating out there somewhere, but since there's just one in existence so far, I didn't think I'd count it. No token songs count on your FC/AAA bars on your profile page, though.

There's more, but I'll leave you to look around and take in all the stuff that has changed during your absence. I think I speak for the community when I say that I hope you like what you see.

Well, if you were any good at it before, you'll get it back in due time. It's one of those things that sort of never really leaves you - you just have to warm back up to it.

also:
-keymapping so playing spread is kosher
-everyone's been playing for years
-lots of hard files to practice and improve with
-arrow colours add contrast and make melodic patterns easier to recognize (for example, {Frozen} is a lot easier to hit than Silence)
-subscribers get combo masking and judgement masking and a few more speed mods

I was actually with FFR before this site was ever setup. Synthlight used to have a little black page with the game in the corner; And then he had an old forum which was some godforsaken software I've never seen before or since.
