I've never used a Nexen but my Cobalt Flux is awesome and worth every penny.

Just the classic pad. You can get 'em packaged with the arcade style mods (which raise the corner panels like a DDR cabinet) but it's great by itself, too.

If you are willing to spend the money, you should invest in a Blueshark dance pad. Worth every penny.
EDIT: -Recessed panels, arcade style sensors, you can feel the corners, and it comes with a bar. This one runs about $400. Last edited by TC_Halogen; 12-3-2008 at 09:36 PM.. |

You don't have to get the bar with the pad, I was just showing you that particular model. If you wish to get it without the bar, that's entirely possible too.
One thing though, if you plan on getting this pad, you may want to put some sort of material under your pad, one of which that is firm so that the pad won't poke through it if it starts to move due to excessive motion. |

Lol, i would LOVE a bar, but like i said some of those bars do break, i dont want to waist $ from a broken bar from a pad i just got...I mean, is it like a heavy duty bar? |

If you want a bar you can always use a strong chair as a substitute.

I would say to use a chair too, but it all depends on how tall you are. If the chair is too low, it puts strain on the shoulders. Same if it's too high.
Also--I wouldn't imagine the bar being too much of a problem unless you do a lot of crossovers...which is pretty much the only pattern that makes the bar go forward (486848684868). Otherwise, I don't really see a problem with a bar at hand. |

I have a redoctane pad. I use the handrail that's behind my computer as a bar. I store it under the computer table and pull it out when i want to play.

Re: Type Of Dance Pad should i get?
I guess that is an okay thing to do--like I said, height plays a huge factor when using a bar.
