Dropping out of school..

It may sound like a great idea now, (trust me, it sure did when I was in HS) but what are you gonna do later in life? Work at McDonald's? There aren't going to be many options if you don't even have a full high school education.

I think I already have 16/30 creds, 8 more this year, and 6 in 12th grade, so I'll have 2 spares in 12th grade.

Quite frankly the number one reason why alot of people don't go to college even. Friends who I've talked to who work before they go to college say that they don't have a reason to go.

I just see it as lack of innovation.

yes welding is a good job to get, but you can get way better welding jobs if you have a diploma. even if you do drop out you still need to go back to school to get certified in welding or else no one will let you work.

while you are choosing and you are unsure just stay in school. its not hurting you to stay in school. you have spent what, 11 years in school? and you want to throw it all away just so you can be done 1 year early?

You don't have to do what everyone else does just because they think it's the right thing to do.

Just don't drop out. Really, it may not help you now, but it may help you later in life where you need it the most.

You like music? Major in music and the arts in college if you like. The Universe? Astronomy is there for you. Welding? College once again.

High School may be crappy for you, but College will allow you to study what you enjoy the most. It'll help a lot.

Also, next year won't be too bad since you'll have 2 spares.

Yea but, since I;m in a french school, I'll need to take french again, which is pure gay. And since I want to do something involving music, I'll most likely need to take an english 12th grade.. which is even gayer because I hate reading books and doing essays, and that's all english is..

I think you should stick it out to the end. You don't really have to try extremely hard, it's more important just to get a HS diploma. Try to find something fun to do that makes school (somewhat) bearable. And then, you can weld **** (as other people have said), and have other options if you somehow don't or can't work at welding.

Just my opinion.

I honestly don't see why school is usefull. I'm on the internet so much that I learn more on here than I do at school.

I've gotten to a point where I don't even do my work at school, I talk back to my teachers and I'm getting 50-60's on my tests. I've got the potential to have 90+ averages but I'm way to lazy and see it as a waste of time.

Work hard now, and you won't have to work hard later, don't work hard now, and you'll have to work hard for the rest of your life. I was also in that phase last year as a freshman. But I now know why school is important, and I don't have a doubt that you have the potential. EnR, don't drop out of school, it's not something you want to do. Pussy won't come as often as it does, as well. Don't drop out of school.

I was your way when I was a freshman(senior now). And trust me here, school is a lot easier if you actually do your work. I'm not saying you have to try, school, by no means, is ever difficult, but manage your time a little and get high enough grades and school won't stress you out as much and it'll fly by much quicker.

As other people have said, if you are interested in music and/or science, just major in one of those. I'm going to get a bachelor's degree in music education myself. : D
