Default Worst Nightmare

So me and Kamunt were chillin' in AIM tonight, and the topic of hardstyle music was brought up. He sent over a project file he was workin' on. I asked if I could finish it for him and call it a collab, and he agreed. Two hours later after much anal rententiveness, we had ourselves a dutch hardcore track.

Name: Worst Nightmare
Genre: Dutch Hardcore/Gabber
BPM: 172
Length: 3:12
Artists: /DJS\ VS MvM
Link: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page...songID=6900506

Enjoy.

I feel special. Also, Starshot's got a magic touch, I swear. I really hope we can do something like this again real soon, dudemanbro.

To tell you the truth, I wasn't too amazed by it.
Then again, it's probably just not my type of music.

It's pretty good but it's a bit to distorted for me.

I really enjoyed it. Though as previously stated, it sounds a bit distorted, but I enjoyed that aspect of it. It has the generic techno beat (blaring bass drum with a snare tap to build tension and a 32nd roll to move to a new section), but I liked about it was the estranged melody. Also liked the bass line, it gives the melody plenty of room and it in itself is entertaining. The "voice" I believe should be cleared up a bit, it's more like just random noise rather than contributing to anything. It also the first second starts off very loud, and nearly blew me out of my headphones.

The vocal definitely clips like crazy. Also, it sounds muffled, as if you like attenuated the treble completely. Come on Starshot you know better than that. :O But it definitely has potential to be awesome. :D

Mind if I attempt to step this and send to FFR? Sounds a lot better than Atomic Hardkore. I want to give you props on not using a freaking piano.

Btw... this is Terrorcore, but I guess it can be gabba, although it sounds way to hard to be gabba... Definatly Dutch Hardcore. Thx got for Dutch Hardcore. Definatly the best.

I wouldn't have a problem with it, not at all. I'd get Starshot's permission, too, though, just to be safe, though I'm sure he wouldn't mind too much.
