Re: Who here playes WoW?
Didn't even get to once. Couldn't find a regular group and heroics were too tight-knit

Re: Who here playes WoW?
ugh im thinking about changing servers. Drenden used to be a low pop., but since they started doing free toon moves to low pop servers is has gotten really bad. AH is way overpriced and it laggs everywhere. not to mention my guild is falling apart. two officers /gquit in the last few days...
also dont think i posted this before but here it is again if i didnt. http://www.wowarmory.com/character-s...den&n=Aederius lvl'ing holy ftw. really slow, but i like healing. Last edited by Sullyman2007; 09-10-2008 at 10:42 PM.. |

Re: Who here playes WoW?
If you like healing while leveling, use a discipline build. It still gives you a large mana pool and an easier time healing, but you don't lose out so much damage. Instance grinding is fun for awhile, but by the time you realize 3/4ths of your level range is DPS/soloing specced, you'll start looking at quests in a new light.
Try using a build like this one. It takes advantage of Spirit Tap, which is by FAR the best mana-regen talent in the game, and this is coming from someone who leveled a mage to 70 as well. With careful pacing (and by careful I mean you can go balls to the wall if you'd like), you'll rarely have to sit and drink. With reflective shield as well, you can just do your DoT's, mind blast, then wand away once they hit about 60-40%, and the shield and dots do the rest of the work. Shadow is still the fastest to level with, and it's not taking a huge gimp until 70 as to how your healing goes - most trash hit like flies, and bosses have low enough health that it's trivial to go OOM. |

That has to be one of the most intricate things anyone has said on this thread. I applaud you Snowcrafta

Bored with my mage though and the game all together but I'm slowly working on a priest. Not enough healers on my server. |

Re: Who here playes WoW?
you can heal as shadow until about 64-65. I switched at about 64 after i had a really hard time healing the second boss of SP.

Re: Who here playes WoW?
I actually like the look of that setup. I really like all that extra mana regen and the reflective shield talent is pretty awesome. The only thing I would change is Focused Power, swap it for either Improved Inner Fire or Focused Will.
Now that I'm starting to PvP a lot more I think this will help. |

Re: Who here playes WoW?
Improved inner fire is a pretty bad talent. Don't ever take it. Focused will is good for PvP.
