So, just today my parents found out I've been going on this website for over a year, because I had to tell them because they got the phone bill(-_-). Yeah, so anyways. Do your parents know that you talk to people online/go on FFR? If you've kept it a secret from them, why? :O zomg big question

Not only do my parents know, but they know who some of you guys are.

For instance....

Mom: "Jay, who are you talking to"
Jay: "Jursay"
Mom: "Ok"

Yeah, they know I go to FFR, and don't care (I don't talk on the phone with people here.)

They don't know about other people I talk on the phone with, though. (From other forums)

Seriously, ask them what I'm interested in and they'll only be like "computers". That's so far from everything and that's awesome.

They don't know I watch anime.
They don't know I am self-studying Japanese.
They don't know what sites I frequent.
They don't know who I talk to.
They don't know what music I like.
They don't know my study habits (zomg wat study habts?lol)

And that's perfectly fine for me. I don't want them to know.

Yeah, they know about you. It's more of a general sort of "yeah, the guys from FFR" thing. I don't see what the big deal about them knowing is.

I'm in the same situation MrESqueek is in--they don't know what music I listen to and all that. Then again, a lot of it has to do with me trying not for them to find out some of these things.

They don't know what Stepmania is, or that I'm one of the best in the world at it.

I've only talked to LD on the phone. My parents know I go here, well because my brother works for the guy who runs it :P so they do kind of have to know.

Thats nothing, my mom is weird with this mental illness, and goes insane with the tapping of my thousands of keyboard taps daily, same with my dad, (No mental illness, just hates the tapping)

My dad once said when I wanted a new computer (cause my old one was some crappy pentium one that froze after everything)

"If we get you a faster computers it's just going to get error's faster!"

That was a few years ago. Eventually they gave in and got me a new one and used my old one, they quickly learned I had the crappiest computer in the ouse and couldn't even open MS word on it let alone play a game. Heh, good times.

my parents dont know much about me. they dont know i love anime, i spent like 30 bucks on pump each time i go to the mall. they dont know i listen to japanese music like dragon ash and the pillows, they dont know i like japanese movies band from america, cus battle royale kicks.

they dont know anything. and i like it.
