One hander question
I'm a spread and index player(mostly index). I'm pretty damn good at it too. but when i play one handed, i have no idea how you guys do it. how do you do up and down trills like in neon-213 and how do you hit the up and down arrow during a jump? do you hit between the up and down keys with your middle finger or do you use your index and middle? i keep practicing one hand, but i never seem to be able to do that. any tips?

Re: One hander question
I'm one of a few people who use their index and middle. Most people use their middle finger.

Re: One hander question
When I do 1 handed (just for fun) i use just my middle finger for up and down. I have a laptop keyboard, so for streams I slide my finger back and forth.

For up-down jumps, I hit both keys with my middle finger. Since I play on a laptop and the keys are basically flat, it's fairly easy for me to do this. On a regular keyboard where the up arrow is raised compared to the other three arrows, I'd probably have to do something different, like use two fingers. Fortunately, I almost never play on a regular keyboard, just my own laptop.

Re: One hander question
Index / Middle is the best way to do it. You can use your middle finger to cover both but expect some boos.

Re: One hander question
Since i play with only the two fingers, index and middle. Never had any issues with up down trills or jumps.

One-handed + Four-fingered
That's how. |
