Monthly Lottery
Once a month (most likely toward the end of the month) I will make a fourm called.
ex: April/2008 Lottery The way you win the lottery is just like the powerball lottery. Make a three number guess, and then put a 4th number so it looks like this. ex: 1,2,3 > 4 The first 3 numbers can be in any order but the last one must be correct, and it must be in that format. I will be using dice to get my numbers so you guys know me not to be cheating, that also means your guess can be no higher then 6 for any given number. Prizes = Subscriptions, or Credits. Most likely 6 month subbies, or 10,000 credits, depending on if i have money or credits that month. Any sugestions and comments please place here, Thank you Last edited by XHaloplayaX; 05-7-2008 at 07:31 PM.. |

Re: Monthly Lottery
I think that (like the powerball) you should also have prizes for coming close, but not getting all 4.....

Re: Monthly Lottery
I think prizes should be awarded for 4 numbers right, 3 numbers right and 2 numbers right. Obviously the 2 and 3 would be much less than the 4. But do we put the numbers in this post or in your seperate topics?

also I could award more prizes, but a 6 month subbie costs a bit to be giving every month so donations = |

Re: Monthly Lottery
I hope you plan on giving out multiple prizes then.
Using 3 numbers>4th number, where the order of the three numbers doesn't matter, you come in at about a 1/216 chance of winning. For a 6 month subscription, I woudln't be at all surprised to see close to that many entrants, a lot of whom probably won't read the whole thread to make sure their combo hasn't already been taken by someone. |

Re: Monthly Lottery
Or he could just give the prize to the first person with that number...

Re: Monthly Lottery
That would be the least expencive way to handle things, but less odds means less interest. 1/100 odds; Shure, why not. 1/1500 odds; Nah.
