Is that the video that's a bunch of bullshit about how the Pentagon actually got him by a memory-altering missile?

Yes. The government wanted to blow up part of the pentagon on purpose.

Not everything on the internet is true. Then again, not everything is false, either. This is interesting, as the topic title says, if nothing else. I think I'll watch it again now. I was halfway distracted the first time and it all went by so fast.
Also, even if it was a missile, why does it matter? Let's say it was a terrorist missile (very doubtful). What would be accomplished by telling people that? It would just cause panic because people would know that our enemies could have weapons in our own country and be ready to kill us with them. Whatever launched that missile could launch another, and it could kill more of us. That would cause panic. Or, say it was just an accident, a military test gone wrong or a misfire from some USA jet. That would make us look bad. It would make people lose faith in the military, which (obviously) was going to go to war with whoever could be blamed for the WTC attacks, which is not what this country needed. However, if they just said it was a jet, it would cause less panic. We all already saw 2 jets fly into the WTC, so we knew it could happen. Plus, people wouldn't be scared of everything, just planes. Saying it was a missile would cause lots of panic, because it could be snuck in and fired at us from anywhere. With planes you just tighten security and keep an eye on possible hijackers. It scared people out of flying for a while, but we weren't completely devastated. If we knew for a fact that a missile hit the Pentagon the US would probably STILL be scared out of their minds. Hence, even if it was a missile of some sort, I for one don't give a rat's ass if they lied about it. Part of the government's job is to avoid hysteria and keep people calm and happy. It's like in Men in Black. There were aliens all over the place, but they kept them a secret because most people couldn't handle the truth, and it would just cause panic. Just think of during the Cold War. Those "duck and cover" ads were pure bullshit. Getting under your desk won't save you from a nuclear bomb's explosion, but thinking it would made people feel safe and they kept about their daily reutine. Although I'd rather know the truth, I'd MUCH rather have the general public be ignorant of the dangers. People panicking is NOT fun.

So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =( In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz. So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright. And I write the blog for their website. Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O |

What about the families of the people who were on the plane that crashed into the building?

Yes, it is interesting. The thing I don't like is that is raises more questions than it answers, like about the family members of those who were supposed to have been on the plane. Sure, there may have been no plane, but what did crash into it then? And where's the proof of this missile or whatever? Also, it didn't seem to have a point.

I love "conspiracy theories" like this because the opposing group gets so much information out that is almost unrefutable onto the table and says, "Look what I've found out. Explain it better than I can."
The best one I saw (non-sarcastically here) was a special on FOX about how we never landed on the moon. The evidence made so much sense that it was hard not to believe. Just like this. I'm not saying his theory about "mind-control" is accurate, but his "missile" theory holds up with his supporting evidence. All it takes is an open mind and some logical thinking to see this kind of stuff. Of course, now the author of this video is deemed "a lunatic" because he's trying to prove that what happened on a major day in history was falsified. Just like the dude on FOX who is now like completely censored out. ~Squeek |

The movie wasn't trying to explain what happened on that day, it is pointing out what the author believes DID NOT happen. He backs up his statements with evidence that is rather interesting. Whether it is true or not we may never know. The government can't be trusted on all things.
