If you smoke again you are banned from FFR.

There. Now you have to decide which you are addicted to or want more.
FFR ... or CIGARETTES?!

Seriously though. My addiction to FFR might actually be stronger than my addiction to Nicotene.

And I smoked hookah tonight. I failed to mention that because I didn't want to get flamed. Does that count?

If it's weed; it doesn't count.
If it's tobacco; you failed.

Seriously; Doing it gradually almost never works. The mindset you have while doing it 'gradually' burries you from the start.

If you do it gradually and one day you mess up and you have a little more than you are supposed to then you will think "Oh well its ok, im doing it gradually, I can just smoke less tommorow."

Then you repeat this until you are back to full blown smoking.

Even if you don't think you will make it, set your goal as to not smoke at all. When you do this and you smoke a ciggarette, it's still better than the 'gradually quitting' method because at least if you screw up when trying to go cold turkey you will feel more guilty about it.

Feeling guilty about it will keep that "I shouldnt smoke mindset" and thats good.
If you can't break the smoking habit, make it a habit to feel bad and disgusted about doing it. This will naturally make you want to smoke less and work harder to quit. Even if you don't quit the first time you will grow to detest smoking more, and it will pay off in the long run.

Thanks for the advice. And I do feel guilty I feel guilty everytime I smoke and then have to have a conversation with people because I'm self conscious about the way my breath smells. Or when I go to see my family and realize that I smell like I've been smoking everytime I pick up my baby cousins. It's just gross. I have to stop.

It's pretty sad when you can't even sell your dead body for a decent chunk of change. I think I got the lowest amount!

Edit:.....I did get the lowest amount.

I just quit smoking as a New Years Resolution after 3 years. My right lung nearly collapsed recently, and I thought that was a pretty good reason to stop.

So.. Why's she banned now? Well good luck with dropping your addiction. I think cold turkey would be best, good to just get that junk out of your system all at once and deal with withdrawals.

My dad smoked for about 30 years, and then he quit smoking because my mom died of cancer(s). He still smokes when he drinks, because those things always tied in with one another. But now if he's sober and he tries smoking a cigarette, he can't handle it. It's a good thing that you're trying to stop. You're still young and your body will adapt to what you've done to it. It's better that you do it now, rather than 30 years into it.

And yeah, don't tell yourself that you'll stop when you finish "this pack" or "this cigarette." When you really believe you want to quit, you need to throw it all away during the moment. It's amazingly easy to talk yourself out of doing things when you don't want to do them.

^I agree. Everytime you get the urge to smoke start playing FFR. Pretty soon you will be addicted to FFR, but i don't see a problem with that. Its easier to be weaned off of games than it is cigarettes. TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE. LOLZ
