I'm a diehard Patriots fan, but even I'll admit that we were LUCKY to come out of there with a win. 4th quarter, Brady's 4th down QB sneak gets stuffed but Rex Ryan called a time out a second before the ball was snapped LMAO!!

PS - It's dumb to assume someone's a fairweather fan based on their location. I lived in CA and FL before moving back to the northeast but never stopped cheering for the Pats.

last night on the 1am sports center, they were talking about the dophins vs pats game... and scott van pelt mentioned something about the phins beating the pats, and the other anchor was like, "but they aren't very skilled" or something like that. it was highly amusing.

I actually have a $20 bet going for the Dolphins beating the Patriots. Just for the lulz. But also, another friend is willing to just give me $50 if the Dolphins win, and I don't have to give anything in return.

If they lose, I don't care, if the Dolphins win, then I'll laugh so hard and have $70 more in my pocket.

Everybody always whines about the winning team. When the Patriots were the Cinderella team, I don't remember so much whining about them and so much insinuation of cheating or rigging the game.

I watched the game, same as you all did, and I didn't see the refs calling it wrong. Want to see a screwed up game? Watch Steelers vs. Colts 2005 season playoff game, and then come back to me. **** pete morelli.

To their credit, the Ravens played their hearts out, but what cost them is the complete lack of discipline to bolster the desire to win. You need that to beat the NFL's hottest team. You could see it wasn't there, from the coaching down to the players. It cost them the game.

Congrats to Kyle Boller (sp?) stepping up from his usual inconsistencies to consistently put together solid drives and put points up on the board. Steve McNair needs to go. The guy had his days, but he's been injured too many times and I'm hard-pressed to find a reason for him not to retire. At the same time, I'm not sure Boller can really step up to the plate for the next five plus years. Perhaps Baltimore might be in the market for a new quarterback in the next few years, and if so, possibly a new head coach.

Best moment of the game? The kiss Brian Billick blew. Priceless.

It sucked for aTzUeLo1191 for MrZombie's Fantasy Football. aTzUeLo1191 would have gotten 1st seed if Brady didn't get 13 points. Guess who had Brady. MrZombie did.

I got the last spot being the 6th seed. I'll probably get to the Semifinals and Finals if I - I mean - my players don't screw up.

Evokes memories of the last NFL tie: Falcons-Steelers, 2002. I believe it was Plaxy B. who caught the long ball at the 1-foot line or something. Wouldn't have affected either team's playoff seedings (Falcons beat the Saints, the 7th best team, twice that year).

I was kind of disappointed when I heard about the Samari Rolle incident and the ref calling him "boy." While it's important for the referees to ensure the proper respect of the players is observed, at the same time it shouldn't be used as an excuse for unsportsmanlike conduct. Remember that referees and players are all professionals, and should each act accordingly. It almost seems like the Mike Cameron incident all over again...

And to further clarify, if a referee says, "Break it up, boys" or something to the effect, it shouldn't be internalized and taken so personally. I understand that Samari Rolle is a grown man, yet his actions also suggested those of a teenage lad.

I'm still so irritated with the way the Patriots are being portrayed. The game will be remembered as "the day the Ravens Who Stand For All That Is Good And Just were defeated by the Evil Deceptive Espionage Kings of Death and Doom Known As The Patriots by cheating Zebras Who Are Part of a Secret Organization That Is Bankrolled By the Aforementioned Evil ****s Known As The Patriots", rather than "the day the only undefeated team in the season was almost beaten in what would have been one of the greatest upsets in NFL history".

Some of the Ravens accused that ref of not having ever played pro football, which wasn't true; the ref had been on the D-line or something for a number of years. That might have provoked the "boy."

The Patriots tarnished their own reputation. I don't wanna hear any crying about how they are viewed.

Why the Ravens lost that game? Simple. They stopped playing in the 4th quarter. All aspects of them did. The refs didn't help too much mind you, but the blame fully falls on the coaching staff of the Ravens. Yeah, you were better than the Patriots, who are the best team in the league, for 3 and a half quarters. But then you stopped giving the ball to your running back(6 carries the in 4th quarter) and you stopped trusting you quarterback. Yeah Boller has inconsistencies, but am I the only one who remembers, he DID help them win a Super Bowl.

Also you want a game where the refs didn't help anyone...how bout Superbowl boring, Seahawks and Steelers. Refs cost the Seahawks overall 13+ points....course I could be biased, I am a Seahawk fan.

Wrong! WRONG WRONG WRONG!!! The Ravens lost because the Ravens sideline called a timeout when the Patriots would have turned the ball over on 4th down.

Even if that did not happen, with the Patriots two timeouts the Patriots could have made the Ravens go three and out just like they had done on the last two drives and got the ball back with near 40 seconds left.
