Also, if "legal action" is not the first thing that comes to mind, chances are there's something in the story that you've left out.

I thought the Union made it really difficult for someone to get fired did they not help you at all?

Unfortunately I was on some sort of bull**** 120 day new member probation.
Which basically means, while I do not gain any benefits from the union, I still had to pay them.
