*fist pump* Looks like I have the lowest credit requirement I only need 17 credits to graduate. Anyways, it doesn't seem like you lack credits really...I mean, your IN grade 10, and you got 20 credits already? That's pretty damn good if you ask me xD

since you're only a sophmore you have plenty of time, if you gained 20 and you're not even half way done with high school, don't worry, just dont screw up again, otherwise youll amount to nothing o yeah, dont drop out

Way to **** up freshman year.

I'm in junior year right now, and I've pretty much got high school all done with. I'm taking a college course [I think Sociology] over the summer, then next year, the first half of my school day is college [Psychology and Gov't] and the second half is high school.

Obviously, no one reads in this thread.

We do not know how many credits he can earn a year, so 50 is probably very reasonable.

I think the best course of action is setting up an appointment with your guidance counselor. It is their job to help you with what you need, including gradutation requirements. They will give you classes and perhaps outside courses if need be in order to graduate on time.

50 credits? That seems outrageous. We have to have 22 here. And I've had a hard enough time graduating, myself. I've got 9.5/22 >.>(Junior year). But My suggestion to you, summer school, no extracurriculars, ask if you can come in early and take classes before school is supposed to start. or even after school ends.

As many have said a counselor will more than likely help, assuming they are doing their job...Which unfortunately, isn't usually what I see at the schools I have been to. Well, at least in terms of placing these issues as important. Regardless..

I recommend taking online courses, they are easy to manage from what I'm told and easy to pass. You'll have to pay money in the end, but hey..what can you do, if it helps, might as well, yes?

Keep on at it though, school is a struggle for some and the exact opposite for others and it seems you've struggled..In the end, just don't give up on it. Seems like it's said to you over and over but, truthfully, keep at it and try your best to recover from whatever it may be, no hole is too deep.

i'll transfer some credits into your account. i've got enough for you to graduate 11,000 times with some left over for your lazy friends to graduate too.

anyways, dude, you're not that far behind at all. like many people have already said, summer school will set you straight. don't cry.

btw, i need 196 units for my degree. i only have 57. f*ck. college isn't free either. sh*t.

Lol credits

I went above and beyond with my high school credits... I think it was 115 credits to graduate but most kids got 120+

plus I did 200+ hours of community service... helped a lot.

I need 240 credits to graduate. But of course that's 10 credits a class, with 6 classes a day, over four years. We also have the option of having a seventh hour, so we can go above that, or graduate early. But it's a pain in the ass though.

50 creds means 50 half semesters
likely block (8 class) schedule
8*2*4=64 max creds
or
7 class per year schedule
7*2*4=56 max creds

if you are finished with your sophomore year and have 20 credits
then you still have either 28-32 credits that you can possibly get which means you can get the 2 credits u need from summer school which is only about 150 bucks per semester so 300 bucks and a lil hard work
or an extra year of hs
and you will graduate.

has school started for you?
what year are you currently attending?
