Omggg, I'm gonna get eliminated!! I hate how the Advanced section is the hardest one to get through with its lowest good qualification rate..

Re: 3rd Official FFR Tournament - Round 4
I was looking at the finalist from the last official tourney and I'm supprised not to see many of them returning...
Well, let's see who makes it to round 7! Remember everyone, the rare RLOLF Vertex Beta Song is at stake! Here's a list from last time Expert Bahamut-X (9-1-0-0) bill_clinton (13-0-0-1) jimerax (28) dAnceguy117 (37-5-0-4) -------------------- Loyal2Death Exag0n Advanced lxDestinyxl (5) Doug31 (5) drummerlsu (7) Schrammbledeggs (8) -------------------- Hammymcsquirrel (17) dawg4321 (31-2-0-0) Intermediate Zeron (AAA) A2_Sauce (AAA) Alucard4_6 (1) Loot You (1) -------------------- xXTranceXx (3) Goldenwind Beginner jigglyboy vs (13) DrawingJunkie (AAA) (21) mxpx9546 vs (4) brothaice (AAA) (27) slickskater29 (2) vs (28) gothicmonkey (AAA) (12) Grafx5 vs (2) jugglinguy (AAA) {P.S. What's the mystery prize from last tourney also? I don't remember anyone getting it...} |

question: that break in the list of users, does everyone above the line move on to the next round?

Re: 3rd Official FFR Tournament - Round 4
Yes, unless all the scores above the line are AAAs, then there's a tiebreaker round.

Re: 3rd Official FFR Tournament - Round 4
regarding tiebreakers:
I'd much rather see tiebreakers provided at the start of a round than only when necessary, if they're going to be used for that round. Only providing a day to do them negates the whole purpose of having week-long rounds: to make sure that everyone has a chance to play and that random irl things won't interfere. this is how it worked last tournaments and it makes much more sense to me than waiting til they're necessary. Having the extra day at the end to submit still makes sense, of course, because someone might only create a tiebreaker situation at the last minute, but having only one day to play it and practice on it seems a bit severe, and it would be lame if someone went out because they were away from their computer for that day or something when the tiebreaker was posted. |
