Internet Explorer...screw yourself.
I hate this stupid ass browser, pop-ups keep coming up EVEN with a pop-up blocker. Its super slow, and I got a cable modem connection.
So... I got Mozilla...it rules!!!! Its fast, and it does block all pop-ups, I never had a pop-up for a while. And Im happy. The only thing is, you just need to get flash and shockwave, etc. Thats not much of a big deal tho. Also..when I try to FFR on Mozilla, it doesnt work when play the song, so I just play on IE. Everything else about Mozilla, rules. So get it, www.mozilla.org FireBird>IE |

Everybody keeps saying that IE sucks and that Opera / Mozilla are so good. I really don't care about either. I've seen them and I can't find anything better than what I've got right now: A working browser that requires minimal system memory. Plus, the Google toolbar popup blocker has never let any through. In fact, I've now blocked 1,000 popups since I installed it.
So, IE > all. Don't counter this either. No point in defending your browser because I said something about it. ~Squeek |

Actually, there are many browsers much much much much better than IE. It's just that you don't need them. IE is fine, nothing wrong with it.

Why would you want to have an ugly google bar disgracing the top of your screen with large numbers on it.
Mozilla is slick, conveniant (tabs), and blocks pop ups automatically. |

Are you reffering to IE, Bean? Because I don't have a google bar on mine. Mine's clean.
If I ever had a problem with IE, it was because I was at a porn site, and the problem is always easily solvable. Those that think pop-ups are a problem are pansies. |

Oh boy, here comes another run of "Spazzbite's list of reasons for why this is bad"
This episode: Why IE sucks to other browsers. 1. Other browsers have built in pop up blockers, which is handy for those who are not able to download google toolbar. 2. I've seen many google toolbar downloads with spyware in them. 3. Other browsers have really cool skins, which definitely beat IE's boring ass skins. 4. Other browsers work FASTER than IE does. 5. Mozilla has built in IRC, which even has shortcut keys to enter it. 6. TABBED WINDOWS keep you from having excess windowness in your Windows Bar. 7. Does IE have support forums moderated by the creators? Yeah, didn't think so. 8. Ctrl-Clicks allow needed popups, while keeping bad ones away (On certain browsers). 9. You can allow popups from only certain sites (On certain browsers). 10. DOWNLOAD MANAGER keeps track of recent downloads and folders they were downloaded to. 11. The history clear manager actually WORKS. 12. IE doesn't fucking crash whenever it comes across something it doesn't like. 13. Multi-Username storage database, so you don't have to keep track of all your passwords for different sites 14. Downloads your file while you're setting its location on your computer. 15. You can delete some temporary files through download manager. 16. OMGWTF that stupid .zip bug is fixed! (When IE automatically opens zips before you can choose to save them or not) It's time to go eat, so I'll just stop there. 16 reasons should be enough anyways.

I use Opera. I like it a lot more than Mozilla and IE.
The ONLY problem is is that I need to use IE for some javascript actions, certain sites, or attachments. |

*Ahem*
#16, I have never experienced. #11, I have never experienced. #2, is solvable: Don't download it. All the others are just conveniences to make stuff cooler and easier. Not reasons why IE is bad. IE doesnt have these cool things, but who needs them? Are they nessesary? No. People have such hard problems with spyware and popups, when the solution is so easy. You people take so much for granted. Be glad you have access to the internet. |

Dammit Spazz, beat me to it.
Trust me on this one, guys. I never saw a problem with IE either, just some mild annoyances, until I got Opera. Opera opened my eyes to the evilness of IE, and I'll never ever go back. I can't stand IE or anything else. Trust me people, just give it a try. I promise you'll thank me later. |

Sounds like Opera is a fave too, maybe thats another alternative to IE
If you want to use IE, fine, but IE you have to download a lot of thing to protect it, like you have to buy condoms, but Mozilla and stuff, already have the condom built in, so it is awesome. Google Toolbar...Mozilla also has on built in and it doesnt take up a whole 'nother row... |

After everything Spazzbite said about Mozilla/why IE sucks, I'm curious enough to try it...
...but I don't know, though, because I really like using Netscape. I'm surprised no one has mentioned that browser yet. |

Opera sucks ass. I hate it.
I'm fine with IE. All the stuff he listed just seems to be stupid little features that I'll never use, and popups aren't really an annoyance compared to the IM's I get. At least with popups, I can close those right away and they don't come back. >=\ Personally I have more of a grudge towards AIM. I can't get rid of this: It fucks up all my AIM windows whenever someone with that stupid crap IMs me and I can't turn it off. |
