Well...this is honestly my true opinion... I really don't think there is a point... I think it's pretty much, you get up, you have fun, you work, you have sex, you eat, you sleep, just all focused around that. That is my personal opinion. I know it probly fails in comparison to others but it's what I believe

I think the point of life is really to bask in the existance of mind then give offspring so existance of mind can be ongoing. Also I would edit your post and make it bigger, CT regulars will flame you. It sholuld be tprobably at least about 15 lines.

The point of life is to purely enjoy your existence while it lasts.

Generally I think the very overall, vague, bigpicture pretentious dealie we're working with is this:

We have no idea what's going on. We will, in all likelihood, never really understand what's going on. We do know, however, that things are constantly changing - even in subtle ways, they're always changing. For better or worse, bigger or smaller, purple or blue, things are, have been, and will continue to change.

Therefore it makes at least a little sense to assume that our meaning has something to do with change. Changing what to what? No idea. Remember, we don't know what the hell's going on - don't get specific and start asking questions we can't answer. Just know that as long as you're changing something in some way, you can at least logically use the excuse that you're quite possibly fulfilling your creation's purpose.

The purpose of life, Mr. Anderson, is to die.

edit: Anyways- I can see how you could spend forever thinking about something like this. I don't see a true purpose to it, if your someone who is Agnositic/Atheist, such as me. But if you do have a religion, they teach you that your life is a long test that "the lord" has created for you, and what you do with your life, determines "your afterlife".

Speaking non-religiously, i agree with Agent Smith. lol =)

Agent Smith was just an existentialist.

He was constantly pissed off that there was more than one of him, but suffered from a need to make more and more to gain more power.

So basically, Mr. Smith was whining about a problem in which he himself was creating. Mr. Smith was emo.

If you really come down and think about it, the purpose of life is to realize how much you ****'d up. (From all of our mistakes and such.)

EDIT: lololol. Siggy'd Neo.

Some people seem to miss that and dredge through life doing something they hate, lately its been the rage. Just remember, if you are stressed and no end in sight, do something else.

Tell that to the woman on welfare, two kids, and no husband.

Yeah, she can just go do something else.

Or maybe the political dissident in any number of the wonderful countries that are committing genocide right now. I'm sure they can just, y'know, go do something else and everything will work out.

Truly, their lives are just as meaningful as anyone else's, because they can improve their lives by simple willpower and determination.
