Great for a foreign film. I think I watch it with my mister on Valentine's Day if I am not mistaken. I would also suggest it to others. And the little girl did a very good job.

Re: pans labrynth
i have it on my comp...i really like it
mainly for the fx and stuff the storyline was good, but the movie just wasn't as good as i expected i thought there would be more mythical parts rather than mainly in the 'real world' and yea...a little gory...esp the mouth part

Re: pans labrynth
Nothing at all. I love foreign films. I love film. Going to school currently to get into the industry actually.
HOWEVER, mass audiences usually do not take so well to foreign films in America. I think this one has told a pretty good story and gotten a lot of attention from an a lot of different people here and that says a lot. That's all.

I really enjoyed this movie. It was not at all what I expected it to be. I had heard so many different things, all positive, that I didn't know what to expect. I was a fan for the violence, I don't know why, but for some reason it really stood out in this movie in my opinion. I would like to see some more stuff like this.

Re: pans labrynth
I saw this after prom a few days ago. I would have liked it better if they kept it unclear as to whether or not the girl was actually imagining everything or not. They could have stopped the movie with her hand dripping blood into the well, but they didn't. Still, I really liked it.

Thought it was pretty awesome. A bit artsy .. but still pretty solid.

Re: pans labrynth
Most specifically the ending. Gritty sure, as some would call it moderately gory.
Definitely artsy, as it was sort of poety and slow going. Otherwise, as I said, I did like it and thought it was beautiful .. |
