Velious, that video is amazing. I think they put that TV in the background to show that it wasn't sped up or anything.

1 frame=1/30th sec To convert to BPM: 60/(1/30)=1800 Divide by 4 to convert to 16th notes (the standard for jack BPM) 1800/4=450

Re: Crowdpleaser trills on 2x
Actually speed mods just help for reading arrows (PA), don't help for hitting those jacks AT ALL.
If you can't get under 2 misses without speed mods, you have no chance to FC with speed mods. |

Re: Crowdpleaser trills on 2x
Yea, speed mods help me with hitting the first jack in long jacks early, but then don't really make much difference after that.

Re: Crowdpleaser trills on 2x
In songs that are all one color notes, like CIA rave, I have a harder time telling which comes first, and speed mods spread them out and help with it.

Re: Crowdpleaser trills on 2x
Oh, and another thing It's good for is that I usually screencut, and can't see what I'm getting on notes (perfect, good, average), and by using speedmods, it's like you are screencutting without actually doing it... So I can finally see what I'm getting, and where I'm messing up =D

Re: Crowdpleaser trills on 2x
Look for those who think are going to see it better, you really won't. You're seeing it for the same amount of time.
The thing about it is concentration, very good players can play something enough times to know where there is an awkward step that throws them off, but in cases like these with arrows that fast, a majority of the players just flail on their keyboards with slightly better judgment to get a miss and say "**** HOW DID I MISS" It doesn't help all that much, really, it doesn't. Screencutting is just about equivalent. To prove this, you can do the same thing in SM. If you normally read around 600 bpm, try using sudden. You'll do fine. ~-[L2D]-~ You can see where they come, but your hands really won't move fast enough. Once you do move fast enough, its because you got better at the game or got extremely lucky.

Re: Crowdpleaser trills on 2x
Yeah. I'm sorry. The highest you can get on Crowdpleaser is 16 goods, 3 averages. At maximum, maybe 15 people will EVER FC Crowdpleaser. 64th notes at 120 BPM are the same as 8th notes at 960 BPM. If you alternate arrows, technically you're trying to hit 1920 BPM quarter notes, just alternating hands. Not gonna happen.

Re: Crowdpleaser trills on 2x
chances are, if you even are able to do those trills, i dont think you will be able to hit that burst part near the middle of the trills, like a bit after the middle of the picture there in the first post, you'll probably combo up to there, which if im not mistaken, shash has comboed up too already...
