West Virginia schools begin to add DDR to curriculum
http://www.joystiq.com/2007/04/30/ny...to-curriculum/
Kids'll be excited to go to school again. Except for the rhythmically challenged, who'll be endlessly teased. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

Read comment #15.
The main reason I don't play DDR is that three songs in and my feet ache like I've been at an amusement park all day. I still have no idea why since I never had a problem walking for miles on backpacking expeditions, playing intense sports, or standing for hours on end. |

Re: West Virginia schools begin to add DDR to curriculum
*Waits for DDR to be added into Pennsylvania's curriculum*
Ill probably graduate by the time the retards up in school administration finally realize that DDR will get a lot of people who actually need to be fit, fit. |

We played every week in gym this year and last year in High School.
There were like three autistic kids in my class so you kinda had to...be patient. |

Virginia schools please.
I know my brother has gotten to play DDR in his gym class before. =\ And well, I only have one more year of gym after this to get my credit for graduating high school, so, that kinda sucks, I suppose. =_= |

Re: West Virginia schools begin to add DDR to curriculum
Lucky, my gym class would never let us do that.

I would take a gym class again if we had this. Hope they come down to NC.

DDR added to the curriculum would make it that much better to go to school. Maybe it would help get our overweight children into shape!

Maybe if kids enjoyed it they'd actually participate in it more!

Re: West Virginia schools begin to add DDR to curriculum
Well.. it is a good thing that some people are using video games to try and help as opposed to blaming them for all of life's problems. Yes, I got the idea from a comment left on the blog posted. I don't know if it will really work, since P.E. is only 50 minutes out of the day, and exercise is great, but when they go home how do we know these chubby little plumpers won't be opening up a gallon of ice cream and chowing down like every day before and probably every day then on?

I used to eat a lot every day and not gain any weight because I had to walk at least a mile a day to get to and from class. Now that I eat less, I lose weight. I don't even have P.E. And, if I still played Wii Sports like I did when I first got it, I bet I'd be losing weight even faster (which scares me because I've gone from the upper end of "average weight" to the lower end in only two months). |
