Jackhammer
Any tips? I use two hands now (converted from one) but still have a ton of trouble with these guys.
Do you switch up your hands? Or Just will yourself with a little prayer that you will make it through unscathed? |

Anyone with jackhammer troublea, hit me up on AIM and I will send you an NES emulator along with a Track and Field 2 ROM. Set the A and B buttons to arrow keys.
It sounds like a stupid idea, but trust me, it helps a LOT.

Here's my secret:
I mash the key really fast. It's amazing how often it works. :o

i usually start the jackhammer a little bit early, so i'll get some greats and then by the time the jackhammer is ending, i'll have perfects and marvs by the end of the jackhammer.

The only tip I can give is to raise your finger off the arrow key as little as possible between each note. You might be surprised at how little change in pressure is actually needed to make the computer accept another key press.
But I suck at jackhammers - doing this only allows me to get through them when I have to. The secret to FC songs with lots of jackhammers is to instead FC songs with funner steps |
