just saw it last night.

that was the greatest movie ever made rofl, slow motion battle scenes were absolutely amazing. and i thought all the actors did amazing jobs.

going to see it again several more times, hopefully in imax

to anyone that hasnt seen this yes i extremely reccomend it haha youl love it i gaurentee

The movie was great. Saw it on the IMAX, which was teriffic quality. Good, entertaining tale of the epic battle. Loved the style of the film. Giant gay persian leader with the really deep voice was sort of like 'woah' when he spoke. I suppose it was fitting though, as self centered as he was.

Seriously, when we all saw Xerxes, we were expecting the guy to have a high-pitched Mr. Slave voice. Then he spoke and the theater was like:

"Whoa."

I didn't recognize ONE song on it from the movie. The movie had amazing music, all the ones on the score were short and boring.

I just expected it to be a little more harder. That songs not that great, The best one on the score would have to be Come and Get Them, imo.

I saw it a week ago.

Honestly, it was a solid movie; it wasn't this "epically great movie" or "the greatest cinematic event ever" or whatever the stupid reviewers were saying. What it was though, was a good movie with a lot of amazing looking action scenes with brilliant correography, believable actors and that sort of thing. I felt a little odd watching that sex scene in a theater, but that's neither here nor there.

There wasn't a whole lot of substance to this movie though. I didn't feel well... anything for the characters really. The only scene that even stirred any kind of emotion in me (the way a few more of the scenes were probably supposed to) was the last one. Aside from that, it was basically a thrill ride and a damn enjoyable one at that.

bottom line: solid movie, far from the best one ever made.
