The Clock
For some odd reason, mostly every time i look at the clock, I see 1:11, 2:22, 3:33, 4:44, 5:55, 1:23, 3:21, 12:34. at least every day i see a digital clock saying one of those times. Its freaky.
Anyone else view clocks this way? ~DAshoe93~ |

Re: The Clock
Most days I see 13:37, then I realise that it's a retarded number.

Re: The Clock
In seventh grade I looked at the clock during lunch every day. 1:10 PM. Every time.

Re: The Clock
Be careful about what you say.
Some New Age thinkers will think you're channeling spirits that cause you to look at the clock at these times as a sign. |

Re: The Clock
You probably look at the clock a lot more on any given day, but just remember those sequences because they're 'cool' or 'abnormal'. Even the most mundane will stick out if you give it meaning, and given that you're given to look at a clock several hundred times a day, there's a good chance you'll happen across those numbers a few times.

Re: The Clock
I think it's just a pattern of numbers that we all recognize. Three-four like numbers. Three-four consecutive numbers. Numbers that resemble dates such as 9/11. Our brains are trained to discern natural patterns already. Nothing unusual there.
Besides, there's only a limited amount of number patterns that could possibly occur in a complete day. The odds of coming across a certain combination are lessened depending on what parts of it you've spent sleeping through... but generally speaking, you have two chances a day to see those patterns. Every single day. There's also the obvious. If everyday you ate lunch at the same place and time and you looked up at a clock and saw the number 12:34 again... and again... and again. Well. Big deal. We are creatures of habit. Bagel. |

Re: The Clock
sometimes i check the time every hour...not sure how i kno an hours gone by tho
but im weird with clocks...well with the digital ones, hard to explain but that's besides the point anyways i want either a clock that runs backwards or the one that goes regularly but the numbers are all jumbled at the bottom

Re: The Clock
If you do something more than 25 times, it becomes a habit, you may just automatically look at those times because its habit.
