Default I got in the zone last night and...

This is the piece I wrote last night / this morning.
I have been having this surge of inspiration in the past two weeks and have written four songs now. ..dunno.. kinda jolly mood.. felt like sharing this

Wow. Afreet is a great title for this arabian-sounding piece -- this is just pure ear candy to me. Great work Spook.

actually..the version you get to hear here isn't gonna be the one I'm going to use for an eventual cd (it is almost done, I think...).

A friend heard this song, and we're going to record maybe some live drum breaks (if i can remember how to play) and live piano.

And if we have time.. I might bring my guitars along for another song. I don't get much real studio time these days...

and...yeah.. live guitar.. i tried to capture the "playing in the middle of marketplace" or the "broadcast with the morning prayers" feel
