Spraypaint
I've been trying to study all I can before attempting this beautiful art form, which is made completely from spraypaint, and using various techniques to achieve cool effects.
The first one here, is my 5th painting ever using spraypaint, the first few were to just get a feel for the paint, and how to work with it, this came out pretty nice. *click to view larger* The planet on this one came out pretty. This is my favorite so far Tried some actual scenery type things with the next two, this first one wasnt too bad, but the second one I completely screwed up, put a lighting source in the wrong spot, just all around shoddy IMO. I studied videos and articles for about 10 days before attempting these, I wanted to learn everything about them beforehand, less mistakes that way, and the paper used is VERY expensive ($2.00 per sheet) so messing up isnt much of an option, unless you plan on paying out the ass for it. Anyway. Comment. Feedback. Appreciated. ^_^ Last edited by darkshark; 02-17-2007 at 02:48 AM.. Reason: sp |

Re: Spraypaint
Go paint some plants onto a train car.
Good job on the paintings. The first picture's planet on the right actually looks very realistic.

Re: Spraypaint
So those are made completely 100% from spraying a can of paint at the paper? No extra touches at all?
If so, WTF HAX

Re: Spraypaint
I am impressed and awed. This is the first time I have ever seen anybody use spraypaint as a medium. I have to say, you have talent. ^^
I'll start looking for your other art hacks. I hate missing out on great arts. =P

Re: Spraypaint
Yea your favourite is the best one IMO.
Seriously though, they are phenomenal. AND this is like pretty much a grey area for you with that little experience. You could sell some of these. Might help pay for the expensive paper stuff heh. Really impressed dude, very nice work. PS. Nyokou is right, you should make your own site or something.
