Re: 2nd Official FFR Tournament - Round 2
XD
Happened to me twice. Just hang in there! I'm surprised at how many people seem to be giving up because they haven't AAA'd it in 3 days (not saying you endingz!). You guys still have 5 DAYS LEFT. That's uber time to get it done. Hell, if I can do it with a busted-in up arrow, someone else surly can. BTW, tried to "fix" my up-arrow, now no jumps can register T.T Gotta gets me a new keyboard, SO glad I AAA'd before this happened @.@ Edit: People like Kirby615 are the REAL heroes of FFR! Whore away, pink buddy! (>*.*)>

I'm too lazy to AAA anything that's over 3 minutes long. I withdraw from the tourney. and EI_Tizzy, you might want to try the arrows on the number pad for the time being.

Re: 2nd Official FFR Tournament - Round 2
Looolll at Tizzy.
I almost gave up on BBHR too. I decided I'd whore it tonight until I AAA'd or improved my bf (to a booflag, or something) and ended up AAA'ing in 3 tries. But yeah, definitely don't play the song 500000000000 times in a day and get mad when you don't AAA it. Play it in moderation. This goes for Tass and TM... xD You might hurt the fingarzzzz. |

Your score is as good as 6-0-0-2, by my calculations. You might want to try improving it, if you think enough people in your division will submit that it will actually matter.

Re: 2nd Official FFR Tournament - Round 2
Thank you smartdude. You're smart
Moderation is the key here people. I really didn't try it that much. I'd play it for 30 minutes, get pissed, and leave for a few hours, come back on, and so on in that fashion. I acheived AAAwnage after a completely random start of 6, 8, then 9 goods. You just never know. As for the number keys: no f-ing way. NEWKEYBOARD w00t! And I agree with Doug (both in figures and improving).

Shash has already seeded everyone, and you'll face the same opponent whether you AAA and advance or, say, get like a: (699p-12-13-8-38-248c) and advance. Brackets work as such: (1) vs. (8) (4) vs. (5) (3) vs. (6) (2) vs. (7) Say 8, 2, 3, and 5 advance. Semifinals: (8) vs. (5) (3) vs. (2) 8 and 2 advance. Finals: (8) vs. (2) It doesn't matter who advances. Divide the matches up as such: (1) (2) -------- (3) (4) -------- Etc... If you win, you face the opponent who wins in your line's other match. A turd in the hand is worth George W. Bush, Vishie. (I'm a Democrat.) |

Hey, I just got a higher rank than my opponent can get. Like, the number they can get, am I on to the next round?

Re: 2nd Official FFR Tournament - Round 2
The best I got with music on was a blackflag. I hate how offbeat the steps are, you have to play the song so incredibly steady to even hope for the AAA. I'm sure that I CAN get it if I work my ass off, but honestly, I don't feel like it. So I guess I can't complain. I'm not gonna stress myself out over it either. I'm proud to have ever gotten any AAA's being a one-handed player

Re: 2nd Official FFR Tournament - Round 2
Wow, I hope my opponents can't AAA Sonic, I fear I might be in trouble on CIA Rave. I keep hitting the steps well (best is 1037p-14-5-4-5-736c), but the combo is killing me. I've FC CIA once, and that was with like 96 goods and 5 averages, but it got me a better score than my current best for the tourney... T.T I can do the whole song except right around notes 735-741, after then, I'm basically home free.
