Do you think a zebra is white with black stripes or black with white stripes?

Since they're for the most part white, they're white with black stripes.

But then again, you could just say it has black and white stripes, which is the simpliest solution XD

edit: wikipedia says they are white with black stripes as well

However, I can't find a scource that actually provides evidence.

I don't think you're going to find anything less than anecdotal evidence to support any side of this. It's a pretty lackluster arguement.

I believe I've heard that their skin is white.
